To answer some questions, yes, you can get the leather optioned with heating and cooling, although it’s an add-on and they have to find a place to add a switch somewhere. I thought about it, but cooling (I think) requires perforations which can interfere with my hexstitch specifically, plus I personally find it hard to clean sand out of. Hope this helps!! I have a '21 taco TRD OR premium. After 3 years, I'll say the premium package was totally worth it. Toyota Softex seats are very durable, I put heavy stuff on them all the time and they still look new. They do get hot in the summer but I'd rather have the durability and they are easy to clean too.

Ive got a 23 sport dclb premium and can confirm the learher is awesome. However, after getting a good tint on the front windows and windshield, the seats are much cooler than they used to get in summer. Highly recommend a good tint to go with the leather.

Great video. Something I wanted to do for a while but the front seats are short and uncomfortable for me. I have jackers but it makes entry a bit harder. Could they extend the foam out about 1"?. Which Katskin dealer did you use in SD? keep up the good work!

I bought my 2011 Tacoma 7 years ago and it had a set of these already installed. They are still in new shape and hold up much better than Toyota OEM leather (I’m looking at you Lexus!)

@@ChloeKuoi know you get lots of comments on products, but i was wondering in regards to filming how do you take the time do film while doing an extensive project install, installing can be tedious enough but then having to stop move the camera makes sure its in frame etc. Like at 5:21 you lift the seat into the truck, then the angle is inside already. So did you pick up the seat, get your angle, set it down and place the camera inside then pick up the seat again?

I ordered an interior from ridies a week ago! I used their leather for my MR2 leather interior and love them! But those staples are actually hog rings! And they are awful, which is why I just used the high strength zip ties instead, def the way to go... And also I threw dorman seat heaters in while I had the upholstery off to add heated seats to the sr5 :) It looks great Chloe!!!

I should’ve upgraded my truck to premium package as well. I have been kicking around upgrading my seats to leather and this looks like a great way to accomplish that. I’ve deleted my rear seats with a diy kit that I designed.

Everyone was on PRPs jock after Tacoma Beast did a video on them, they’re crap. Katzkin is the ideal option but if you’re looking for solid seat covers that are like leather seats Clazzio is still the best option I’ve had mine on my Tacoma for 3 years and still look new

My wife told me that next year for my 60th birthday, she’ll pay for Katzkin to make me Lava Red (the closest color to Barcelona Red) Leather seat covers for my 23 TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs. Yes my truck currently has the factory black leather interior and I Absolutely HATE Black interior, so I’ll be selling my Black Leather Seat Covers to a lucky individual who wants to buy it from me. The Red Leather interior will look Great as this December I’m having my White TRD 2 toned in Barcelona Red. Since the passenger seat does not have a lumbar support, I’ll have Katzkin sew in a manual Blood Pressure Cuff, so that the passenger seat will finally have an adjustable lumbar support. My Lava Red Leather seats will be trimmed in black and have black stitching so it’ll blend better with the rest of the death black interior.
