Hi Adam, loving your videos mate. As a spark coming into the industry a bit later in life (retrained at 42 - very nearly there now), I find so many things useful, especially as I am going to be focussing on EV charger installs. Thanks for the videos! Random one, what are your knee pads? Trying to find a decent pair I can wear with shorts. Cheers mate 👍

Nice vid as always, a neat solution and a bit of upsell is to use quinetic switches for the shed lights with additional wireless switching in the house for convenience 👍

@@sotaelectrical no probs, I’ve used the key fobs kept upstairs so if a noise is heard outside they can quickly turn the lights on as a security measure 👍

Hi, the light fitting at 3:23 , from markings on box it shows as double insulated, you mention you always throw away the box that comes with it, these are always awkward but maintain double insulation for joints, but obviously useless where there are multiple cables. On fitting the light, it appears that you have installed with single insulated conductors and Wago's in the metal light fitting, it doesn't show the cover going on - did you somehow re instate the double insulation? Enjoy your content btw

I always convert those garbage lights to class 1 with a fly lead to the metal case.

Reminds me of our quiet days except no-ones ever in when we call. Probably a silly question, but how and what do you use on the iPad to get the photos and hand drawn arrows etc? Im so old fashioned and still hand draw and write out info for jobs on scraps of paper (and I usually lose them). Or worse still just use my memory, which is always letting me down and costing me money. I've got an iPad, but apart from filling in certs (sometimes as Ive never got signal) I never use it. It looks like theres a great potential Im missing.....I know its probably obvious for most people, but would love to be able to do that.
