fun fact: poirot is canonically like 130 by the time he dies, christie wrote him as an old man when he started his detective career (already having been a police officer and retired) and did Not expect his popularity and having to write so many more stories with him... also, in addition to being insufferably british, captain hastings is the narrator of the stories! in canon, he follows along and writes down poirot's adventures i'm a huge poirot fan (not so much miss marple) but have never watched the bbc series ^^; i really like the new movie (and am v much looking forward to death on the nile) bc i think kenneth branagh (sp?) really gets the double mustache vibe described in the books! (tho poirot canonically dyes his mustache "unnaturally black" in his later years, i assume the show is set then bc of miss lemon) anyway i would read the hell out of this.

Jeongyeon is my bias and Chae is one of my bias wreckers, so great taste there my friend, but anyway I screamed when she said she was drawing Twice since they're my ult ;o;

You should totally rerender each other’s old art

Nathan, that legit looks like a Lupin III poster. I'm so used to your cuddly friend drawings on drawfee extra that every time you bust one of these out, I'm always amazed. though I also like your cuddly friend drawings.

Jacob: “That’s closer to what I’m feeling. A little simpler, a little…” Go on, you can say a little simpler, a little cleaner

Love Nathan's sketch and composition today, Jacob's coloring and linework, and Karina's character designs and subtle face differences!!! Everyone knocked it out of the park this episode.

just when i thought i couldn't love nathan any more, he drops hercule poirot: the manga. what the hell nathan.

Karina telling Jacob "shut up Dad" really adds to my headcannon that they are like a little family, jacob and julia the mom and Dad, Nathan is the uncle that everyone loves, and Karina is the baby that they try to be supportive when she talks about k-pop

Karina's response to Nathan's murder mystery: you're killing it lately XD

I love the growth in Nathan's art. He's always been great, but now he's even better! It's almost like he practices or something

All for the re-rendering each other’s sketches (again lol)! Would also love a Drawga meets Drawtectives episode featuring Caldwell!

I cannot describe how happy I am to see someone else who loves the poirot tv series! I love Nathan’s piece too, it does it justice

I love how excited Karina gets when she hears that Jacob is doing something "trashy". 😂

The Final Fantasy fan in me is over here screaming "HOW DARE YOU LEAVE OUT THE CAT GORL" but also these are all absolutely fantastic pieces, as usual. Drawfee *all* of you have been knocking it out of the park

Jacob: "And we already did it! This is a speed-draw episode!" Me: "...Ahh, so that's why they seemed so out of it in the intro, lol."

Suggestion: Before the recording, everyone designs a flag. Then, each person shares their design with someone else, and they must draw someone who would live in that country/place based on the flag's colors and symbolism. Also, please get Jacob and Nathan to try to pronounce the word "vexillology"

I would love to see Nathan's stated idea of go back and render each other's stuff!

I'm so delighted with Poirot and particularly the idea of people being thirsty over Hastings.

i want nathans poirot to be an actual manga or animated series, i love everything about it. maybe i will watch the show and just imagine it in his drawn style lol

"This is not a sponsor" Nathan says. I expect Raid Shadow Legends. I am immediately shaken by the shoulders for being such a fool

I'd enjoy the possibility of a 'go back and render your stuff different' episode. And I'd also like to posit the possibility of a combo 'go back and render your stuff' but it's actually each others' old stuff

Dropping in to say how much I love Poirot. He's a caricature of a detective because Christie was snubbed for her Miss Marple series. David Suchet is an iconic Poirot. I'm so here for it! Love it, Nathan!
@xodeusgaming74173 жыл бұрын
I didnt think anyone could roast Jacob as hard as Karina, but David really killed it in that intro stealth slam.

These all went so hard like you guys didn't need to pop off but you did, stunted on every one of us !!! (My bias is Mina, the twice illustration turned out so good! They were all recognizable!!)

Nathan's Poirot cover is PERFECT. Holy heck. The spotlight and mist are awesome callbacks.
