Im still impressed with the 303! Every single test video i've seen it either ties for the top spot, or blows everything else away. And with 0 cure time.. definitely my go-to.
@YasumotoUS3 жыл бұрын
Having just applied the 303 product to my vehicle, it is important to give the product enough time to haze up to reduce the tacky wipe-off factor. Both temperature and amount of product applied in a given area can play a part in the cure time for the 303 product. I also noticed, in this video's test application, that the initial longitudinal application played a part in how 303 and Turtle wax sections repelled water. Performing a cross-hatch application helps with uniformity in coverage. Interesting test results and being able to apply the Turtle Wax product on a wet surface is very attractive to the DIY car owner who might not have the place, tools or time to completely dry their vehicle prior to application. And in a winter wash, removing the step of having to dry the vehicle prior to application of the protectant is really, really nice.

I've been waiting for this! So what we can say, 303 graphene is one of the most durable products, as durable as the new Seal n Shine! New TW Graphene Wax looks just a little less durable than 303, but with a pleasant scent, no curing time, and super easy maintenance application. If the gloss and slickness are the same as for example TW Ceramic Spray Coating, that makes new TW Graphene infused wax one of the best products!

@@soapa4279 I agree. It's just finding the time to let the car sit in a covered garage for the cure time. I got a where house I could use at my office but it's 15 miles from home. Would have to Uber home then back. Only had the car one year and had fun playing with sealants but as you said it's time to make the leap to a more serious coating. It would be a shame not to do it seeing as I did a 3-day paint correction recently. Lol.
@soapa42793 жыл бұрын
@@robertpurvis6106 Oh yeah, cure time is one of the hardest variables to get around with real coatings. I myself choose to stick with sealants on my cars mostly because they are easy to apply, and weather here isn't harsh. I think in your case, yeah if you can somehow fit a true coating, you'll be good for a couple years at least, and no more worrying about these over the counter sealants failing after a month. Good luck!

@@soapa4279 I'm actually impressed with the 303 graphene. Really tacky to remove but it's beading great after a month of car washes and the yellow spots I was fighting seems to come of with just the wash or detail spray during drying. For some reason the seal and shine and hybrid ceramic were just going flat at the month mark.
@soapa42793 жыл бұрын
@@robertpurvis6106 Ah nice, I think I'm going to try that one. I also had just meh results with TW Hybrid Ceramic, and seal n shine did good but IMO beading wasn't great.

Hello. You can help with advice. I covered the TW graphene flex wax machine. To increase the shine and depth of color, can I additionally coat it with TW seal & shine after washing the car. Would that make any sense?
@RedPillAlways3 жыл бұрын
Well most wax you do not want to put on when it's cold because it just you're not going to have a good time with it. And from what I understand with Turtle Wax Flex no less than 50°F(10°C) is when you want to put it on.. unfortunately I am in the winter time where the high is 38° on a sunny day.. I have a carport and Idh a temperature controlled garage so I'm going to have to wait to try it out

According the TW, they say not to wash for 24 hours after base coat, so not really an accurate test. Love the contest though and comparing products.

Adam's graphene spray coating 🤔🤣. Hope the real adam's graphene coating is more resistant?!.I loved that you show the color of the products! 👍 👍 👍, it would be interesting to do the same with real ceramic, graphene, etc. coatings. For example, I tested a cheap coating on Amazon, the fantastic xml ceramic & Graphene Coating. I put some in a glass and it is rather clear, but a little darker than a CQuartz lite for example!, But even if it is cheap it still works well, rather resistant !, and the suede becomes as hard as wood compared to a CQuartz lite for example.

Jimbo, Approx. How long will a coating of TW Graphene Flex Wax spray last on a car ? The 303 Graphene is supposed to last up to a year.. Thank you.

I have the Adam’s and the 303. I always test them out on my windshield. The Adams definitely clears water the faster than 303. I like to reapply protection or toppers every three months, so I’m mostly always looking for the wet look gloss. The Adams definitely kills in the gloss arena, and lasted until I put 303 on the window like the day one through some crappy weather and salty roads. Jimbos right 303 is super tacky and the panel not very slick after, but I thought super easy to put on. I hope this is like their hybrid WetWax it’s my favorite product they have. I’m not a fan of Seal & Shine or the hybrid ceramic coating.

Seal in shine is top, I just don't like the fact that it is very relepent and way to dry with the blower, graphene does not have beeding either, it does not provide beeding, it is weak! So I prefer seal in shine!

You can tell right from the start he was biased to the TW. Even wiping it off initially, he spent more time on it, and flipped the towel and wiped more than both the others. If you're going to make an objective comparison, be objective. JMHO.

I'd like to see some tests with intense UV lights. In FL the majority of problems come from the intense sun damage. I wash and protect my car every week so contaminants are generally not my concern, but the surface of my cars are easily getting up to the 140-160 Farenheit. Possibly more, no idea.

it was an interesting comparison, thanks! What got my attention is that with this "going pro" thing, this is not their main product. It's a more traditional liquid wax, so I'm guessing they kept this one more user friendly (to maintain the car) and the other one more effective (for a base layer)

I used 303 when it first came out and like you I noticed how tacky it was. Didn’t like the application or wipe off either. However it does seem to last and resist the elements pretty well. It also does seem to give a good depth of color and gloss to my red paint. It’s just not slick. I’m a huge user of all the other TW Hybrid products and the products from The Last Coat. I’ll be getting these Pro line products from TW soon. Thanks for this review, good stuff.
