Hi Glenda. Thank you so much for the tutorial. I got a stain on the back of my favorite pants that I could not remove. So I decided to hide it behind a pocket. Your tutorial was very easy to follow and you were great explaining each and every step. I can now wear my pants again.

Hi, I am making a vest and had to make it longer by 2 inches, do I move the pocket down by the same amount? TYIA
@JanineSmith-zp9pi11 ай бұрын
Hello! I would customize it to where you hand would enter the pocket. If you made it longer because you have a long torso then yes.

Hi I’m wondering when I baste through the pattern & fabric do I take tiny, longer stitches or long, tiny or small, very small or large, very large?
@glendasparling88962 жыл бұрын
Basting stitches are long stitches that can be easily removed. Typically, you don't baste through the pattern, just the fabric.

What is the standard measurement for cutting the pockets
@surefitdesigns2 жыл бұрын
@Danielle Registe - there is no standard pocket measurement. They can be as small or as large as you want. If you want them to be functional (rather than decorative), use the width and length of your hand plus at least 1" - 2" of ease to get your hand in and out.
