Tutorial: Adding a TSS strap to your mosaic crochet bag

After crocheting a bag, you need to create a handle that won't be too stretchy. My preferred method is TSS (Tunisian Simple Stitch) or TKS (Tunisian Knit Stitch). This video shows the TSS method. You don't need a special crochet hook for this because your strap won't be too wide. If you want a wider strap you may need to use a hook that doesn't have ergonomic rubber on it.

You can add a Tunisian strap to your bag even if you haven't used a mosaic colorwork technique. The strap does stretch slightly - it's just not as stretchy as the mosaic crochet section.
