Fantastic Video .. for those of us on Windows 10 ... when you go save the audio to mp3 you will be get a notification to downloand a LAME file which installs in 10 seconds ... and everything works perfectly. Great job Ralph - thank you so much. This tutorial saved me a great deal of time!

Hey just wanted to share my run down. I have a xbox slim and turtle Beach x12s, and trittons. I finally got the buzzing to go by changing the xbox audio cable adapter that came with the x12s. The triton s I have are defective and have to be sent back. I thought the x12s had taken a crap, it was the jack. Micro Center sales a good replacement one, or maybe Best Buy, maybe Radio Shack.

Not sure. Try see if there's a way to "merge" files in vegas. One way, probably not the most efficient, would be to render your project and put the finished file back as one piece

I searched through scores of videos and I'm glad I finally found this one, so thank you. It's very informative but gets right to the point. For some reason, when I insert the new audio track, the existing audio and video tracks shift over to the right and the new track winds up in front of them in the timeline. I tried deleting the old audio, but then I can't get the new audio to line up correctly with the video. Any thoughts? --thanks.

Just found out there is a way to skip to grouping-steps. Just "open copy in audio editor", do your Audacity business, hit menu>export (ctrl+shift+e) and save WITH THE SAME NAME and in the same folder as where your project is saved. EDIT: same folder as your video. It will prompt you if you want overwrite, hit yes. Then close Audacity (you don't have to save the audicity-project, but you can) and that is it! Vegas will notice the change and replace your old audio with your new edited version. No more ungrouping, deleting and grouping!

Great. That was actually a nice tutorial. But is there no way to clean the "noise" if I don't have audacity in my computer? I wanna know if I can clean my audio just with my sony vegas. Thanks.
@PaladinArndt11 жыл бұрын
If you go to audio effects in sony vegas (by looking at your audio track and clicking the event fx button that shows up), look for something called Epress FX Audio Restoration. Raise the Noise floor while you're listening to the audio track until you can't hear the noise anymore. You may also need to lower the Affect Frequencies slider. That's the only way I've ever been able to remove the noise in sony vegas. If your vegas acts like mine, you'll have to reapply the effects if you save the project and open it up at a later time, otherwise you'll hear a "beep" sound effect. I think it's a bug in the software.
