idk if you still want a response, my issue ive had with sony vegas is sometimes audio tracks make noises that shouldnt be there but once renders it sounds fine, if thats the case its worth the quick test render

you can't just put .mp3 into sony vegas, if you're just using an audio track turn the .mp3 to .wav and it should fix it

out of curiosity (im new to this) i found that if you just highlight the track you want to delete and hit the delete button on keyboarfd, it deletes it, is there any specific reason why you drag it down to a new track and deletes it then instead of using the delete button on keyboard ? or is it just something you consider best practise ?

agony ZENITH, Yes, there is an audio Fx in Vegas Pro called "Pitch Shift" that you can use to do that. You can change the pitch higher or lower if you want to.
