Thanks for the video! I've been looking around the internet and been having trouble finding the exact thing I'm looking for. I'll try out this method for my Let's Plays because I have an hour in a half long footage and had NO idea how to make it into multiple "parts", "episodes", etc.

You can do either one. I, for example, record Minecraft in 20ish minute chunks but for some other games I'll play for a couple of hours and cut it up later (as seen in this tutorial)

Quality of the video doesn't change if you render more than one at the same time. It just takes longer. To open the second instance you have to save the project first and then open it again.

I was wondered how people record Let's Plays. Do they cut off every 15min or do they just record in giant bulk, say, 2-4 hours and then just cut the video into episodes. My trouble was, figuring how how to cut it into episodes and this helped tons! Thanks :)

this should work. if you find a better method, let me know!

Does it lower the quality of the video if you render two videos at the same time? And also, will the project show up like that by itself, or do you need to save it or something first?

might be a bit late but couldn't you cut the raw footage between each episode then select and save each episode to edit later

or would you need to render the raw footage and then edit and render it again

+Alasdair S yes, that's it. Rendering takes a lot of time and then you'd be doing it twice
