[TUTORIAL] How to fix Galaxy Buds+ Single Bud Connection Issue!

NOTE: This appears to only work if your bud is labelled with just 0000 or 0030, etc. If it has a completely different code with BOTH letters and numbers, I don't think it will work.

BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER, PLEASE READ THIS: I have found another way you could fix it. Try doing this: I heard that if you jiggle the bud and leave it make sure the red light stays on for it and wait for it to charge up. Sometimes it'll change back to green. Keep trying at it until it stays red.

For me (galaxy buds+ and using iPhone), it was my right earbud that wasn’t coming up in the app (brand new, straight out of the box). The steps in your video didn’t work, I couldn’t get the green light to start flashing. Went to settings and unpaired the buds and deleted the app to make sure. Tried the above, took a few tries for me to wiggle the right bud to make the light turn red - for a while it was switching back to green after a few seconds, but I got it to sit right and red light stayed on. Left the case open for about 10mins and connected them back to my phone and opened the app and the right one was connected and on 14% battery. Turns out the right bud was just completely dead and that messed with the case for some reason? I don’t know, but the problem is fixed! Thanks for your tutorial! Hope this can clear up any unanswered questions too :)

Here I am, shocked that THIS is what the problem was! They fell out of my case in the car during a 3hr trip and I had no idea until the next morning. One bud had 18% and the other I assumed was dead. I sat it in the case and it went red for about a second, then green. I tried all types of stuff but the entire time I just wanted me to sit them in the case in a very precise position. Stupid. Either way, my right bud now shows a whole 1%, which means it's alive again. Thanks man!

OKAY SO I HERE'S MY SITUATION: I slept with my Galaxy Buds + on and I woke up with them off, out of the case, I tried them on when I woke up then the Left Earbud was the only thing making noise. Then I put them both back in the case just to charge them. Evening came then I tried both buds, the Right buds weren't working, so I checked the wearable app, it indicated that the Left and the Case were the only things showing Battery level, the Right bud was "disconnected". I searched for solutions everywhere and nothing seemed to work, tried the pressing both buds at the case while it blinks, nothing happened, tried reinstalling wearable app, nothing happened. Until I tried putting the case on charge then just putting the Right Earbuds in (disconnected from any bluetooth device), I just put the Left Earbud out of the case, Then I waited for about an hour. the light is still red, (indication of charging), I tried to connect again then poof, suddenly it's paired again and I can see both buds now. Fixed it with this method.

When my earbuds disconnect theres 2 stages of disconnection. One where it dosent respond to any of the commands from the wearable app, nor can it play/pause from the touchpad, but you can still hear music and see the battery percentage through the app. And two where the bud acts like it never existed and does not have any feedback despite if the left bud is connected or not. I have managed to get the buds reconnected several times but it seems before the day will end it will separate themselves atleast once. They separate themselves on average about twice per day with the highest being 4 times in a 12 hour period. And the lowest only seperating once for a full day. I have never seen the right bud rename itself and show up as a separate device, and the bud only separates itself on the s10+ phone. I have used it on the s8+ phone without it seperating once for several hours, but that was with dual audio enabled. Please tell me if this info helps you in your journey

Thank you for this video🤞🏼 I have been trying other methods since mostly everyone was saying to just change products and buy a new set and it was getting frustrating but after some tries of one connecting over the other, I finally was able to sync them together when I did the software update and reinstall. I had the same issue. When pairing the earbuds I put my finger on the earbud that wasn’t working without touching the working earbud when both buds was in the case.

I have tried these steps countless times, nothing seems to work. When I go to scan for devices I'll get the original 'Galaxy Buds+ (****)' but then after a moment a second instance of 'Galaxy Buds+ (****)' shows up with the same number in the brackets. If I connect to the first one, it's just the right bud that pairs. If I try to connect to the second one (the one that shows up later), I get an error message about having to put the device in pairing mode. Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated, as no one seems to be having the exact problem that I am, this is my second set of these and I would hate to have to exchange them again.

Spent like 25min trying to connect these 2 ear pods - (bought 1 online because I had lost the right one). Finally worked in the end despite them having different serial numbers. A message was poppin up: "Each of your earbuds has a different software version. Fix this by updating your earbuds.Otherwise, you'll only be able to use one earbud at a time." I updated the software this way on both earpods - (just by clicking update on the popup message, tried it 3-4 times). And it finally worked somehow. Not sure if this helps anyone, but be patient 🤗

Thank you so much! I tried the steps about 10 times before it worked. Some other video asked to press only one side, but pressing two sides consistently made the indicator lights flash green. The left bud now shows 1%, will see how it does when it finishes charging

I had lost my left earbud on vacation - so I ordered a single replacement from a vendor on eBay. I can confirm that this method worked for me to pair the replacement bud+ to my other bud+ and case.

We just purchased our BUds and we received it today with problems, of course, the left bud would not connect and does not worked. Then, I tried searching on Reddit, followed a lot of their advice but to no avail. I would like to say that this video helped me!!! Although, it wasn't as quick as the video above, it requires several tries in my case. For some reason, the "press both buds down and wait for the light to blink" doesn't work for me for few times, and it was frustrating. And then, it just came to me to try just putting the "not working" buds on the case alone, came back on it after few hours, put the other bud in the case (now they both in there) and tried pressing them down, it worked! I had to reset the app and delete the Bluetooth info on my phone first before reconnecting. Happy that I have found this video!

The issue with this method is that the disconnected bud will not respond to the touchpad. So holding them wouldn't help

em I thought that too. But I noticed when I pressed both pads it did in fact start flashing green which means that the bud had to be connecting somehow. I tried to do it with just the working bud and it didn’t work. So what I did was waited until the flashing green light turned into a flashing red light. Then removed the bud that wasn’t working before closing the lid. When I put the bud to my ear I could hear the ambient sound working where it hadn’t before. Sure enough it was connected. It was completely dead almost. These were new buds for me and had not worked from the time I unboxed them.

I did several steps to troubleshoot my left earbud, but it did not work. When the right earbud was fully charged (from red to green light), I tried to uninstall the Galaxy Wearable app again, and then followed your steps, and it worked for my Buds+. Thanks a lot!

Try to charge only the one that not work. 1- disable the bluethoot 2- put the only bud that not work in charging for a little of time. 3- put the other bud on the box and re try to connect it to the phone. Then you will see the week % of the bud and let it charge. I do the same and it work for me because my buds+ was brand new

I thought my right bud was broken because it didn't show up and so I thought it lost its charge and just became broken. I tried a few things I saw online to no avail. My parents bought me a replacement and I managed to get them coupled and the software updated for both of them. At that point I tried to see what i could do with the one I thought was broken. I managed to get it to charge and pair with my phone, but now the left bud was not showing as it was paired with the replacement right bud. This became intriguing. Now I wanted to see if I could get the originals coupled again. However, I just couldn't do it using this method you shown until I did one step before. I uninstalled the Wearable app and after using the technique from this video, it installed the Wearable app and asked if I wanted to update the software to the right earbud (I couldnt update the software on just one bud alone as it needed two in the case and even that was not working because they needed to be coupled. A classic egg before chicken problem). Anyways, after the software update to the right bud, they seemed to be coupled and now the replacement is being tucked away as a spare. Thanks for this video as using this method with some other methods did allow me to get them coupled again.

Mine was dead for 2 years, so I'll try to elaborate it.. first, unpair the buds in your Bluetooth lists.. and turn off the BT. now open the buds, dont make any mistakes, press the buds together like for 30 secs until the green light flashes.. then close the lid.. after 10 seconds, turn on your BT, open the lid, and I hope it reads your buds by your phone, then theres a pop up says connect your buds, then press connect.. you'll see that the ont-workings bud has 1% of battery.. it worked for me just now 😜

For the record, Firstly thank you sir for explaining this fix it was greatly appreciated 🙏. Secondly, allow me to explain and further elaborate on the process. When pressing both buds down simultaneously ensure to firmly press them into the case and slide your fingers slightly outwards to the sides of the case and approximately 5 seconds the case should start to blink at which you can either close it for 20 to 30 seconds then attempt to connect. Once pairing is complete you won't see the bud appear right away, don't be disheartened as the battery may be completely dead. Give it like 5 mins with the case closed to allow the bud to charge and viola it will appear with some juice/battery 😉 enjoy and once again thanks for providing this video 👏🏽

OsculatingPlane I charged the case. Then took ONLY the faulty bud and put it in the case for about 30mins. Then opened the case and put the other bud inside and then followed the steps in the video and voila the green light blinked and the buds paired

New out of the box didn't recognize my right bud, used your pairing trick and the other one is showing up at 3% battery now. Thanks for the vid.

I got a S20 Ultra today and also got the Buds+, the left bud wouldn't connect, I held both buds like you showed in video but the green light did not flash for me.

I had bought the Buds+ from Amazon, no matter what I tried the left bud would not connect would not make a sound, it was if the left bud was completely dead, so I returned them to amazon for a refund. What I found strange is that I purchased what said "UK version" but there was no English in the instructions, I honestly think the set I got sent were fake. I ended up buying another set direct from samsung that arrived the next day. I was also lucky in that I work in the NHS so I got a 20% discount. When I was looking the white ones on samsung were reduced to £119, so if you're not worried about the colour get the white ones. The ones from Samsung worked perfectly right out of the box and theyre so great.

Do all that you see in comments, and if doesn't work just repeat and keep trying. It works, also what worked for me is make sure you don't have anything else paired with your phone. When i unpaired my garmin watch and did all this it worked. Thank you a lot for this video man!

IT xonnects in tthe box ( tested it om its own) but when i tske it out and tet the touch, no reactions or sound, reset them like on the videos by holding them down.. Nothing.. Im stuck

@@jedda-gaming3942 hey I found how to do it from the earbuds software itself. If you open the galaxy wearable app and go into earbud settings then press on reset earbuds

Mine was dead for 2 years, so I'll try to elaborate it.. first, unpair the buds in your Bluetooth lists.. and turn off the BT. now open the buds, dont make any mistakes, press the buds together like for 30 secs until the green light flashes.. then close the lid.. after 10 seconds, turn on your BT, open the lid, and I hope it reads your buds by your phone, then theres a pop up says connect your buds, then press connect.. you'll see that the ont-workings bud has 1% of battery.. it worked for me just now 😜

NEW TIP !!! Desinstal everything. And try it back with the case at zero battery 🔋 . Now your phone will see both earbuds!!!! After that. Just recharge your case.

Dude thank you.I've been pulling my hair out trying to clear out bluetooth caches on my phone and messing with the settings but nothing was working. This fixed it. Thank you.
