As someone who actually grew up as a Buddhist in India (now an atheist living in west) Im sorry but this girl would not last a day living as a buddhist 😂 Its definitely one of the hardest ways to live life. We lived a relatively good modest life back home but no TV, no jewelry, no luxurious clothing or things of that nature made of animals, vegan lifestyle, lots of community work, all i had for entertainment was a cassette player with a radio it was books, books and more books and meditation in early morning. Oh did i mention i wasnt allowed to drink coffee? Now i cant imagine going a day without drinking coffee in the morning. I wasnt even allowed to own a smartphone even after leaving all that life behind in india and i brought one with my own will when i got a job at 18.
