@@RamesesBolton Dating online is impossible, women get so much attention it changes them. they can't see true feelings anymore. The longer women stay online dating the more likely they are to become jaded from guys looking for sex (all guys are looking for sex but some are looking only for sex). Meanwhile guys have the same problem but it's due to lack of attention. This guy was average looking. His friend thought he wasn't bad looking but she seemed mistaken that not bad looking meant good looking. If she wanted to hook an attractive female she was going to need much better pictures. Women don't want average unless they have major issues. They're simply geared to go after more attractive men. Online they're showered with praise and if they pass on an average looking guy there's 20 more in line to give them attention.

Dating apps have given women a massive ego boost that's super undeserving. After years of struggling to hold inane online conversations with subpar women I've finally given up 2 years ago and turned to matches introduced by friends and family. My brother's next door neighbor has a niece a few years younger than me so they hooked us up. I'm now engaged to her and we're getting married in December. In person it's so much fucking easier. You have ample opportunities to show her who you really are. Your real life appearance, your personality, your quirks and shortfalls...etc. Matches introduced by friends and family also have the benefits of already being vetted. Her aunt would never had introduced my fiance to me if my brother didn't vouch for me, vice-versa.

Tinder could fix the problem by making it so guys can only swipe right on 3-5girls a day, while girls can swipe right as much as they want. So what would this do? It would make guys way more picky, girls would get less matches overall due to this, which would lead to girls being less picky.

I tried being women on dating sites. Bro, it’s like being a celebrity. And I made multiple profiles with women of varying attractiveness. Even the least attractive profile got way more attention than any guy’s. And I only got two or three gross or inappropriate messages. I think women tend to focus on the negative so much that they just blow everything out of proportion. I had to quit before the week was up because 1. I hated knowing I was ultimately playing with people’s emotions. That wasn’t my intention, but I was the only one who knew this was an experiment, so intentionally or not, I was doing that. 2. I was getting ADDICTED. All that attention and feeling of being desired simply by existing?? No wonder women are spoiled lol
@xxxxxxxx89034 жыл бұрын
You're missing an important point. It's easy for a woman to get attention if she's willing to get sexual (either pictures or the promise of sex), but that is what MEN WANT. What most women want, is the type of guy who will call her next next morning. And won't be calling other women, only her. That's way, way more difficult to get and if you raise your criteria to that, you'll find you have a far less "addicting" Tinder experience.
@mattmattmatt1313134 жыл бұрын
@@xxxxxxxx8903 "What most women want, is the type of guy who will call her next next morning. And won't be calling other women, only her." ... and that is somehow difficult to find?? Not to mention that EVERYONE wants someone to be exclusive with. This is not something only women want. Everyone wants a partner, and everyone wants attention. As a woman, I will say that I would rather see a person in person because you get so much of those nuances and their energy because if their personality is on point, it adds so much color. Pictures only capture one moment in one angle and there’s no emotional context through text.
@binarydigit0942 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for saying this. I think most women would agree. When it comes to attraction, men tend to be a lot more one-dimensional and captivated by the physical aspects, whereas for most women, physical looks still matter but it's a smaller part of the overall equation. That perfectly explains why men and women have such vastly different experiences with online dating (and also why 3/4+ of pr0n viewers are men). Because of our nature, men are a lot more likely to be attracted by just a picture and a profile, without the nuances of energy and emotional context as you so eloquently put it. We're a lot more primal about it. Man see shape, man want shape! :)

But women are probably not told the truth as much, we don’t straight leave them for the things they would leave us for, and we don’t hold them accountable for shit... so yeah I’m not too surprised at how some women are today. Pffft, I had a girl on Facebook get angry with me that I didn't talk to her while also spamming messages on repeat. I think at the spamming part it was a man that grabbed the phone as part of a blackmail bit tho. This happened to me twice, once when I fell for the trap and gave "ammunition", the second was me not doing anything so they literally had to make something up in order to blackmail me. When I'm on social media talking to someone via text, I get blackmailed and get told to apply for crypto, then get insulted for denying. For an introvert like myself who struggles with initiative when talking to people, makes me completely lose interest in talking with women to get a date.... Still will talk to them in a friendly manner in person or when playing video games (when necessary), just not going to talk if there is nothing important to say.

@Kawhi's burner account way to miss the point. first of all, the comment that your replied to (and by extension the comment that he replied to) is talking about how women have it easy by default, because they don't have to court the opposite sex like men do, and that makes them big headed. nowhere in these comments do they mention that they have a hard time picking up girls like you implied. secondly, the point of this video was about interactions _on Tinder_ , so your whole "this won't happen on tinder" shtick is irrelevant. maybe learn to actually read comments before going off some smartass rant about something you *think* we don't know, and coming off as a jackass.

100% water is wet. I tried online dating on and off from 2002-2006 and it always sucked. You send a message and get no responses, you send a couple messages back and forth and then it just dies off or they unmatch you. I don't know how anyone navigates those apps. Now, I know I don't have much game, so the purely online takes that down even further. I ended up joining a local group that had monthly in person meet-ups for members. I ended up meeting my wife there and we're still here 15 years later.

This is why I don’t buy into that “sTRoNg INdEpEnDaNt WoMaN” crap. It just gives people an excuse to be entitled. I’ve seen some people like this around my area and it’s especially funny because often the women who are most entitled aren’t even the best catch. I really think we need to start talking about toxic femininity. I think modern feminist ideals and politics have created an environment where women don’t even listen or pay attention to men’s issues. I mean what the hell happened to the idea of “equality”? I laugh at women when they say they want equality and independent like those feminists said to them. All you women had to do is go out and socialize with men who may be average and didn't have much luck with dating apps. But, then again, we men don't even have an answer to hypergamy. Same. Met my husband in person through a living history event and he worked as a blacksmith. We met up at a later date and the rest was history. I didn't like online dating. I don't think dating is easy in general. For women I have had very strange men message me. Ask if I wanted to have a baby with them. Or they wanted a hook up. I wasn't like that and wanted a man who was smart and could have a good conversation. I fell for my now husband because we met through a mutual hobby. On our date I learned we were both dating for the purpose of finding love and marriage etc. He went on about how he loved making beer, the history and leather making which was wonderful to me as I loved history too and making and doing things. I loved cooking, weaving, painting, soap making etc. And always wanted to make wine so his hobbies and interests were very attractive to me and mine were to him. We did many projects together and still do. We collaborate all the time on projects and he recently picked up wood working again. Hopeful we will make another beer this fall. Best man ever. So loving supportive. He makes me want to work so hard to match him so I can show how much I care. I care for our children. I cook. I take care of things and he helps when he can. He loves his children and misses us and looks forward to coming home. I am blessed and I will always try my best to ensure he is happy as well and taken care of. He is my best friend.
