I have a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado LT and I use to have 8 app icons on my screen but now one is gone and I can not find where to get it back. I pressed and held down one of the icons and drag it and looked on the other screen but they are all blank no app icons on them. Where would I go to get deleted app icons back or to get icon apps on my home screen. There is no info anywhere on how to do this.. By the way I do not have an Onstar subscription but still need to get the app icon back that I lost or get other apps added to my home screen. I have WIFI that my truck connects to at my house. I also do not see an App icon like i see on some of the videos.

Hello Ruth. I am a little confused on your question. This video shows how to add your favorite stations to your radio. If you are listening through your phone and you are wanting your favorite songs off of that, then that would be a setting in your phone someplace. Maybe on the specific music application you are using?

Can you please show how to change the home screen in a 2021 GMC Sierra Denali, if it’s even possible. Can it be turned off, or can I just put the GMC logo on the home screen as my default setting. I ordered a new truck from my local dealer (Pitre GMC), and expect delivery in March 2021, and am trying to learn a few things before it arrives. Thank you.

Hello mhs. As far as changing your home screen goes, you can press and hold the icons to drag and drop them where you want them to be. There isn't anyway to change the appearance of the screen other than putting it in daytime/night time mode. It would be a nice feature to have though.

I purchased my 2020 Silverado pre-owned, my issue is that some of the apps that were on there I am assuming when brand new, are not on there. Is there any way to get them back or some way to add apps to the screen?

Hello Emily. There should be an apps button on your second screen where you can download 3rd party apps such as Pandora or iHeart radio. It does require an internet connection to use those apps. Alternatively, you can download the same apps to your phone and use the android auto/apple carplay feature. Your vehicle will use your phones data and eliminate the need for in vehicle WiFi.

Hello Robert. I am not sure what you are referring to. The 3-month trail period should just fall off without any changes to your radio.

Hello John thank you for the questions. As far as I know, there is not way to adjust the 5 icons in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Those are your default "quick links." In regards to the climate control, the button in a red circle with a person laying down is your climate control button. Depending on your vehicle, your climate controls will show on the screen when you press that button. Hope this information helps to answer your questions.

I have no where else to turn... only GM Bullfrog can assist. I have a new 2021 Colorado. I notice in all the videos, it appears as though the SirusXM radio screen looks quite different on my truck. I don’t see an album cover or pause button, none of that. Just the station title, artist, and track. Did they put an old radio in my truck? Also, on an FM frequency, how do you switch from HD1 to HD2? I have tried to find it in the owners manual. No luck. I posted on another video... not sure if I can do Apple CarPlay wireless either. Guess they put the antique radio in the 2021 Colorado!

Hello Pluto. You are correct in stating that the Colorado does not show album covers or offers the ability to pause Sirius XM. It is a different radio than the one featured in this video and I am not entirely sure why Chevrolet decided to do it that way. Chevrolet did a good job packing a lot of punch in the small body of the Colorado but it is far from the most technologically advanced vehicle that they offer. What it lacks in technology it makes up for in capability. The Colorado is one of the most capable off-road vehicles on the market. Not to mention it is a B-E-A-U-tiful piece of machinery. In my opinion, it is the best looking small size truck on the market.

I love my Colorado. It is a great vehicle and the typical Colorado buyer probably doesn’t mind the simple radio. They truly are the best truck out there. A great vehicle. Any idea how to switch an FM station from HD1 to HD2? We have a lot of HD radio where I live. I can’t seem to figure out how to toggle HD2

I am not sure on that one Pluto. My area doesn't offer HD radio so I have never experienced that feature.

The owner’s manual describes using the tuning function to go to the HD2 station. I tried this a few times and it didn’t seem to work, hence the question. Now today I tried again and it worked! One knob click or screen click and it goes to HD2. Probably a reception issue before.

How do you program a favourite song on the new system. So no matter when that song is played on any xm station a notification will let you know to tune to that channel. Had it on my 2018 but cannot figure out on my 2021 thx

@@gmbullfrog1004 The crazy thing is that on my 2021 Ram the "save favorite artists and/or songs" feature is still available, but on the Chevy's you no longer can do this. Weird! Come on Chevy, it's 2021 and your infosystem looks like one from 2010.

Hello Khalid. The 2021 Traverse does not support wireless Carplay. I have been told that there is a third party transmitter you can purchase to give your vehicle this capability, but I am unfamiliar with how it works.

Hello Multisweener. Your vehicle is capable of downloading several third party apps with Infotainment 3 system. If you swipe right from your main screen, there will be a button called apps or shop depending on your vehicle. As long as you have a WIFI connection in your vehicle, you can download or use select apps. Alternatively, you could plug your phone up to the vehicle and use Android Auto/Apple Carplay to also gain access to these apps through your vehicle.
