And the scene files are? Nowhere to find, like all scene files in C4D 20 series. Any links? Its great to see what you can do, but sometimes hierachies are a little too complicated to reinvent them from screenshot, and from what i watch, its quite important for workflow

The thing is cool and all, but is there volumetric sculpting? Like in blender, or 3dCoat?

There is no voxel based sculpting, but this comes close and has other benefits (excellent integration with Motion Graphic Tools for one). The two can't really be compared. A VDB object can be turned into a sculpting mesh (there is a CMD available for that) and the meshing of OpenVDB itself has the option for adaptive tesselation.

I want to make a video using a real background and instead of human actors, I want to use dolls. Can this be accomplished? Can I get the dolls to act out the parts and move like real people?

You can accomplish it using camera tracking and MotionCapture data. I recommend Mixamo.com for MoCap, it is free.

This new tool needs to be greatly improved because the edges of the model are so bad I have been using cinema 4d for about 15 years ago

Volume Modeling would be awesome if you would've put more effort into developing a better retopology toolset. Plus your plugin shit. Way to go, R20.

Without changes to the SDK, there will be no progress in C4D. The plug in developers have to adapt their plug-ins. It's as easy as that.
