Wow.🤦🏽♀️😆 I am just trying to follow along and I am not doing the full sets because I am so out of shape but am getting back into shape and will be strong again soon. For now I am just lying on my mat feeling exhausted. I do appreciate all these workouts though.

I’ve been doing this workout for over a year now and was ready for more of a challenge! I added 3 pound ankle weights and it’s so much harder! Definitely recommend if you’re trying to up your strength!

Today was my second day following along with this video. I stumbled on it with the intention of starting Pilates again. I found the exercises just for "ballet" dances a nice boon. I danced from 12-22 and loved it so much. (I'm 42 now.) I didn't start ballet until age 16, but I LOVED IT. I did make into point, though I was very good. Thats OK I STILL LOVED IT. I'm looking forward to watching/following more of your videos. Yes pilates/ballet workouts.

I loved this! Much more dance focused than my normal Pilates class. We do that whole clam/leg series though, and it kills me every time :)

I know this is a rather old video, but it it possible for you to disable the mid-roll ads? I got 5-6 ads right in the middle of the video, which really messed up the flow of the workout (lots of awkward pausing with my leg up in the air!). Even with the ads, it's an excellent workout, so thank you for helping this out-of-shape dancer get through quarantine!

I am a huge fan of your basic series - the arm and plie one REALLY improved my technique. therefore I wondered if you would consider doing an arabesque basic video (how do I turnout that leg, where should I put my arms), an attitude basic video and a basic video about the waltz step? those are steps I reallt struggle with... Hope it was ok to ask for this. I know you must be so so busy

Ok so things is literally the only follow along pilates for dancers that I could find. I am a late starter at ballet because of my family's money situation, so I've been dancing for three seasons. I am so determined to become a professional dancer, even though I started at 12 and now I'm 13. But look at Misty Copeland! Anyways, I have a month between the spring and summer semester, and I have devoted myself to working on my technique so I have a chance at getting on pointe this fall. I have the foot strength and flexibility, but my technique is lacking and so is my upper body strength. I did this for the first time today, and let's just say I had no idea how hard it was. I alsi had no idea how bad I am at controlling my body. So I have decided to do this everyday for a month, followed by my stretching routine and a thirty minute Barre. I will probably follow along to your Barre class in the summer when I'm not packing in studying with ballet. Thank you so much Kathryn, I have no idea what I would do without you. You have helped me so much, and I couldn't of made it this far without your tutorials and help. Ilysm! 😁

I find myself coming back to this when I don't have time for a barre or the entire strength & stretch, but there are so many ads in the middle of exercises, it is rather difficult to follow along when they interrupt at the worst time possible. I know that this is KZbin's fault though.

Love this workout, question though - at about 6:30 after leg Scissors where you just move the leg up and down, at that moment I could feel the popping sound from my lower back - is this an indication of any condition? should I continue to skip this movement? Thanks anyone for answering in advance

I'm currently only able to take one class a week and I'm a preteen, is there any chance that I can be a professional if I work hard enough at home?

Charlotte Conybeare Being a professional has nothing to do with how many classes you take. To work towards being a professional dancer you have to work hard, be persistent, and be near flawless in your dancing. Some people are naturally great at dancing, while others need hours on hours of practice everyday. Eventually you would need to take classes more than just once, but for now just keep up doing what you can at home.
