Thank you for your vedio, I went to my local ballet class, most of them are kids, they can split, they can open their legs 180 degree, they can do the most difficult poses. I am 45 years old. Sometimes I fell, I don't belong to that group. their speed are so quickly, I cannot remember the steps, I am so embarrass to ask teacher to repeat. More, the classes time cannot match my time. However, your vedios help me to do bellet, fitness... etc, I fell so comfortable and free now, I just want to say thank you and keep produce more vedios.

Yay! I've wanted another one for so long! Thank you! Also, I wanted to ask you something. I really want to go to a summer intensive, and I've never been to one. I'm really scared if I go to audition, I'll mess up really bad, and I won't get in. Sometimes I have a hard time getting combinations quickly. What should I do?does anybody have any tips?
@norasverredal19416 жыл бұрын
Don't let your fear stop you. It's better to try and fail, than not try and wonder what could've been. Besides, even if you try and don't get accepted you will gain experience that'll be helpful next time you audition. Good luck! ^^
@MeowyMakes5 жыл бұрын
The key for me to remembering combinations is to just keep attending auditions and keep taking classes where they teach combinations.

And a total beginners centre please. Barre is okay for me, but I just can't do centre. Especially in a jump series I'm always completely lost, so a total beginners centre class for working centre basics would be so so much appreciated😁

Hi Katie! Nice video! I do have a question though: I have a medical condition that keeps me from doing anything that strains my neck or back, so the first exercise I am unable to do. At home and in class, when the girls do crunches and sit-ups I will often substitute lowering and lifting my legs. Do you know of any other exercises that I could add that would do the same thing without me having to strain my back or neck?

Hi Katie, this is great! I have a quick question for you---do you find things like squats are uncomfortable for you with feet parallel? I am a former ballet dancer and am now practice a great deal of yoga and one of my challenges is it feels uncomfortable for my hips to have my feet in parallel so I always have them turned slightly out because that feels more natural for my body. Same when I do workouts involving squats and lunges. Just wondering if you've ever experienced that!
@nicolechampeau84327 жыл бұрын
Lauren E Omg, I have this problem too! I used to turn way out during squats, over the years I've gotten more parallel, but my feet are still a little turned out.
@kathryn_morgan7 жыл бұрын
Yes! Because we are so used to turning out, that is the way our legs have learned to naturally be. It's like walking - I walk slightly turned out. When I do anything in parallel, I feel completely pigeon-toed. So having slightly turned out feet is totally normal and fine!
@laurene13897 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for responding! Glad I'm not the only one with this problem!!!

More, I am not American, that mean your students are from internationally. Keep going with your vedio, I will recommend to my friends and relatives. So they can learn bellet and English. But you have to speak slowly, for English as a second language. Thank you.
