I agree with the comments here, we should have Jacob (and Luke) here as well! Matter of fact, I want the reaction from the whole cast watching this amazing episode, it was so effin good! But, omg, Assad embodied Armand, especially in this episode. I was like, YES, THAT'S MY EFFIN BABY ARMAND. The look, the power, when he gets angry, he is so scary yet sophisticated, he was effing hot. It was effing amazing!!! The fighting, the trauma, realization that they were played in the end, it was perfection! I watched the episode 10 times now, yes, that much. It was award winning. I swear, Assad and Jacob should win an award for their acting in season two, especially in this episode! Like I said, season two is so much better than season one. Brilliant cast, and every episode makes me want more!

They’re sort of weaving each book’s narrative into different and the same episodes as they see fit in order to serve the greater narrative of the show. We’ve definitely gotten so TVL, DM and IWTV already. I feel like it’s no holds barred when it comes to which source material they pull from at any given time.

I loved the waltz😂😂 The fighting will be interesting. Considering the stellar performance in ep5, the potential fight in the last episode will be chilling no doubt. Even though Daniel have anger for days, I worry more for his safety than the vampires.Although.... It would be fun to see him go off 😂

@@ravenkushner ​@ravenkushner there may be other reasons as well, but people were so vocal about race changes, and lestat and louis/lestat are still such favorites, i truly believe they're worried having the promo focus on the non-white actors and the less popular couple would hurt ratings. Not to mention pandering to devil's minion fans when it has yet to happen, if it will. Like i'm obviously not mad about sam&jacob and assad&eric promoting together but its hard to read the lack of jacob&assad as anything else
