It looks really good. Great Job! I actually do this all the time with my natural hair. I call it a Brist out. Lol, since you start with the braid and end with the twist, but awesome job. I love your content keep the videos coming. 🤗💕

I didn't realize it had a name either. I forget what KZbinr put me on to this, but I've been doing this for years. Not just for braid outs but just putting in braids in general because it makes it so much easier to unravel. I can't imagine going back to the old way lol.

The hairstyle looks cute😍. I've tried it but with 3 strand twists, after braiding the root, because it gives more definition and elongation than the regular twists. I also get less frizz because I didn't manipulate the section to have 2 strand twists, and I find that I don't have to separate as much after taking down the 3 strands😊.
@LaToyaEbonyHair2 жыл бұрын
Oooooo I like your method!! I’ve never done a 3 strand twist. I might learn how to because it sounds perfect for this method!

@@LaToyaEbonyHair Yep, every since I tried 3 strand twists outs there's no turning back. It's a bit confusing at first because our hands are used to doing braids, but once I learned I loved them. I hope it works for you too😁.

A bun. Half up half down, buns on the side. Will most likely let it flow… time for wash da🤣😂. Keep the ideas flowing. Love it. Thank for sharing.🙏🏽💐🌸💕

I have been doing this for a long time. I don't braid that far down though and make smaller 'twaids'. I like doing this because the roots are flatter and I like the look of the twist at the end. Also, I don't have to separate as much. Small perm rods on the ends makes everything look more even. You mentioned wanting to use them. Give it a try. Your hair cane out great!
@LaToyaEbonyHair2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Whenever I’m exploring a new technique for the first time, I get so much information. It’s great because I start to think about practical ways I can use it. For example, you talking about flatter roots - I agree! I’m more of a twist out person, but I love the idea of getting a flatter root if I need it.
@ReigningGlory90832 жыл бұрын
Girl ,you did excellent on your 1st attempt! I love twaid outs. It eliminates that puffy roots. If you have the desire to " remix" it try a bun where the middle part is it could make it worth the challenge. You could do a side part swoop too.

Omg, that's what happened in my head too the other week, when i did a Twist-out- separe it or not separate it🤭🤫🤔..ended up having two ponytails, cause one section turned out good and the other side was frizzy, so did 2 ponytails instead😄🥰 your hair is gorgeous, I am acared of straighten it to trim, going to check your video to gime in an inspiration 😍 I am going to try open my twist tomorrow morning, and hope it turns okay. I've been on a twist and hanging bantu knotted ends kick. lately. I'm not super into braids and I already feel like drying twists is more time than a wash n go so I don't want the extra extra dry time of drying a braid. I don't feel like it fits into my lifestyle. However, thank you for sharing.

It came out very nice. It's brave to try a new style when you have to go somewhere important the next day. Props to you for that.💜 Although I don't know how to do them, it seems like a three-strand twist would work very well with this because you wouldn't have to split a section of the braid into two.

I usually do I guess what is considered to be a reverse twaid out. I braid the last 1/3 of my hair instead of the 1st part. It's so thick in some areas (esp the front half of my hair) that I can't twist it to the end. I can't get a taut twist to the end, especially when I do flat twists, my go to style. So I braid it instead. Works for me. If I do a traditional twaid I still have to braid the ends.

@@LaToyaEbonyHair every time I do perm rods it creates too many different crinkles. So I just got on my coiling game. Try coiling the ends with your finger until it’s like juicy and you can tell it’s tight if you do like a mini refresh on the front. But your hair definitely looks better with the fresh cut. Very luscious.

@@monicabranch7011 I agree, twirling the ends helps especially if you use the right type of mousse. I learned this the hard way. Rodding the ends crinkles my ends as well. It never turns out well.
