Could you please go over and show\tell us what your motor already has done to it? Especially the coil set up you have! Also what brand things are, such as turbo manifold and turbo. Model, size, specs. Catch can etc. I'm also a Supra junkie and I love to know everything done to another 2jz's owner's car. Thank you so much. I look forward to more videos

I’ll be shooting a first start up video before flying out to TX2K. I can definitely add some more specifics as to my current setup in that video. Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂👍🍻

If they had prices at $999 I might pull the trigger on paying someone but I like to learn myself and more the DIY troubleshooting person so probably be wiring my own 2JZ to mk3 Supra swap one day with a VVTI aristo and probably going with a ECUmasters EMU black

I’ll probably end up doing the next one for the HT car. When I was doing this I really just wanted the car to run and didn’t want to spend the time researching part numbers for the clips &c. Haha

Hey any problem with harness after all this time ?
@2JZAddict2 жыл бұрын
Not one - still going strong. I think the only thing I’d change would be requesting a larger secondary connector for additional inputs. The little one only has about a half dozen that were unused.

So for the tweaked harness if i was to get one, what would I request them to do to alleviate the problem without opening up the harness.
@2JZAddict6 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about where I had to pull back some of the loom to get more slack?
@savagepaul-6 жыл бұрын
@@2JZAddict ya what part of the harness actually needs to be longer to mitigate that issue. I wanna ask them to fix this so I dont have to pull the harness apart

The injector clips specifically is what I was having difficulty with. I don’t think any part of the harness needs to be longer necessarily he may have just added a couple inches too much loom on accident. Once I cut the zip tie and pulled some of the looming back it was good to go. I’d recommend selecting the “serviceable” option if you’re submitting the order online though. That will have a few zip ties on the main portion just in case. It also helps if you want to add additional sensors in the future. Going with the “full loom (non-serviceable)” option is a bit silly IMO. You really don’t even see the harness once it’s installed, especially with the catch can lines and everything else that runs along side it.

@@savagepaul- it's pretty common for some of the wires to be shorter, this is not the first time hearing this. When these guys do a harness they have a diagram that's basically predone so they just follow that when building the harness. But unfortunately people route things differently. So it's not going to be exact for everyone.

Depends on 2 things really, how much money do you want to spend and who's tuning the car and what they recommend?
@brendansmellsmyfarts Жыл бұрын
Link, ecu master, haltech, or aem, if you have a tuner in line go for the tuners recommendation. I went with EMU black and am struggling finding a remote tuner
