Amazing homily! I’m 25 and have been bed bound for 2 years, had a surgery a few days ago and still no improvement to my health. It’s hard to stay positive when you lost your old life in a blink of an eye. Your word’s definitely help me push forward 🙏

I always knew Jesus loved widows. I have felt the Holy Spirit throughout my life but nothing like this. I've been desperately praying for my husband's salvation. There is nothing more important. Jesus came to me in my sleep. An angel took me up to a beautiful mountain. I was in awe of the feeling. My husband showed me his wee house. Jesus gave me so much peace. I can't believe he took time out for me but he did. He l9ves each and everyone of us xx

I was listening to the sermon again. The algorithm gave me this sermon; the late Fr. Beard. I am a new Catholic and this man is similar to charismatic style; from my side of the woods. The lead gave me this because: the woman that showed great courage; and Jesus wanted to play to the audience; showing us; how brave she was by insulting her three times; not exactly insults; I already explained it. She did not know she was being tested; yet she was teflon; nothing STOPPED HER. The lead gave me this sermon of Fr Beard. I said: I am all alone in my family; and I have to deal with different things; on my own. I go to my priest; with PTSD; and he prays for me; and I am better. The trials are in spurts. I just came out of a trial. But I am not brave like this man. I CAN'T DO HOW THIS MAN DESCRIBES BRAVERY; with the different cult churches; that I have to deal with; because: of my family ties; for maintaining that I want to be loved by my family; and you know my story; I forgive them. My priest is my team member of two...and so, by faith; THE STRATEGY IS ESPIONAGE. I told you about the dream I had. The next post I will post the sermon of; extreme sports; how courage works with this interpretation. AND I CAN'T DO THAT. I WANT TO BUT I CAN'T.

I don't say to eat junk food, however! Junk food is not good, not because of E-s (although some of them are problematic, such as sodium nitrate e251), but because they sell something cheap and not of good quality that you wouldn't eat without those additives. And I would not eat chips :P or crisps of any kind too often because of the cooking method, which simply isn't too healthy

There was no suffering when a mass could be said at home. Now we could not even practice that ancient t tradition. Even St John Paul II could say mass at the homes of his parishioners even under the threat of the Nazis.

I've lost so much weight since losing my husband last year. My clothes dont fit and I'm getting reluctant to leave house. I shouldn't care its a natural process but people can be hurtful even at Mass. Don't like walking up to communion with everyone staring. I know I dont look good xx

@annemarie "Don't like walking up to communion with everyone staring." This is real for you, but that doesn't mean it's true. Most people have very little interest in us. We should know how little people either notice us or give us much thought. I rarely notice others, or even what they are wearing. I bet it's the same for you. We are no different from most people. They are not staring at you any more than you are at them. "I know I dont look good" I am reluctant to comment further, especially on this. I don't like my picture taken for this reason. Silly, but my hair turned white prematurely. My reason tells me it's silly. Real in terms of feeling? Yes of course. But this is not the objective reality. Nor is it for you. Jesus made you beautiful. And you remain so.

@annemarie "I'm getting reluctant to leave house." For you, leaving the house right now requires a great deal of the very stuff that Fr Mike was preaching about. Fortitude. Courage. You may well be demonstrating far greater courage in leaving the house than a soldier charging the enemy. I have recently returned to going to Mass on Sundays. I can't believe how easily I could have not gone last Sunday, or this Sunday. But in both cases, I was very glad I went. Peace, good will, and blessings for you. I can't imagine what it is to lose your husband, as I have never married. On a separate thread, under Fr Mike's CIY, a few days ago, I saw that a woman had lost her husband some time ago, and she has offered a Mass for his soul every weekend since he died. And this is what she intends for the rest of her life.
