Jake. You’re a straight shooter in terms of trust. Legit question. Do you think there’s any credence to these early booster boxes that creators get are juiced with extra hits? It just feels like every time a set is released and I watch these early sponsored openings there’s never a dead box. Feel free to comment either way. Love your videos man.

Seems pretty mixed bag as long as the content creator doesn't obviously have a case or several cases to record and make the "ideal" box break video with the better hits. Only one that seemed way above avg. was Frosted Caribou's box that had gold urshifu vmax, gold articuno V, Sylveon VMAX character rare, and a whole bunch of character rares. I think Jake's box was fairly avg.

I personally don't like what they've done with the texture on the Character Rares, prefer the Japanese ones. But the alt art cards are absolute 🔥. Thanks for the giveaway, Jake. And good luck everyone 🍀.

The texture wouldnt be much a problem… but that ugly yellow border is another story…

@@TheAngusTV Yeah, I agree. The yellow border is cringe worthy. They need to get rid of the yellow border on all cards higher than an uncommon. It would give the rare slot some appeal as well. As it stands 99% of regular rares are just bulk to most people. Some silver holo borders like the Japanese sets would be really nice.

13:46 water type is actually one of the best if not the best typing in the Pokemon TCG. Suicune V and Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX are both amazing decks and Water types have great support like Melony and Capacious Bucket. But no, Kingler VMAX won't be that good. 🤓

Great hit rates! My favourite has to be the Jolteon, I just hate the way they put them out of sequence (like Jake said), but I also dislike the yellow border - the Japanese version from V Max Climax looks much classier in my opinion. None the less, still very keen for the set! Thanks for another great vid Jake!

It's encouraging to see the pull rate being so good for this set (probably too early to tell given the small sample size, but still). It looks like Brilliant Star will be worth a pickup for the character cards alone. Beautiful artwork!

Turtwig, Grotle and Torterra look incredible. Would have loved a VMax Torterra but I'm happy seeing any love for them at all in the TCG, feels like it's been a while. Hoping to catch Gary's eeveelutions and Pikachu & Raichu full arts from this set. Might have a chance with the reset on pull rates 😌

I can’t wait to get my own booster box of brilliant stars. The full art trainer cards are really gorgeous and especially the gloria full art card, im really digging that card. The eeveelutions are also definitely some cards im trying to collect from this set. It’s really fun seeing Jake pulling cards like that in his video’s, but his videos are always fun to watch and also, he’s just an amazing youtuber. I can’t wait to see more of your vids Jake!

I'm definitely waiting for this set to buy more cards. I have probably opened over 30 Fusion Strike packs and only pulled 2 or 3 regular Vs. Last night I opened 8 packs and didn't get s single hit and only 2 holo rares. That did it for me. I'm not wasting any more money on Fusion Strike.
