Love this stoves with big openings. If know you have realy dry sticks, its possible to use bigger sticks than is used in this video after a while (after coal as build up). That makes it very easy to collect enough wood, and control the heat. If its too hot, take some sticks out and burn them later if you want to make it hooter.

I add a half cup of water when it comes to veg with salt and pepper as it sort of steams it aswell so veg goes soft quickly

I like your Lodge Skillet seems like ever one likes titanium myself cast iron cooks so good non stick I don’t think backpack long distance just go out to have fun cook an enjoy great video thanks for sharing

Thanks! I was so sad when the airport security said that cast iron is not permitted in carry on baggage and I had to throw it away!!! Still need to replace that littl one. Spread the word!

They’re made by Eagle Lighters. Most gas stations or outdoors stores around here in Utah have a variety of them.
