It's an Urdu qawwali with a sprinkling of Persian and Arabic in honor of prophet Muhammad SAW. It's not Hindi, no disrespect to Hindi speakers. Noticing barely on the voice modulation is kind of doing a disservice to this beautiful kalaam. Just my opinion.
@tanmayt1224 жыл бұрын
Urdu was invented with the mixture of Hindi (around 60%), Arabic (30%) and persian/Afgani.
@aamnahere62504 жыл бұрын
@@tanmayt122 No dear. Urdu has been around since the 1800s. Hindi as a language doesn't have literature older than 1920s so please correct yourself. Urdu is a combination of mostly Persian and then Arabic. I speak both Persian and Urdu and pure Urdu is very much inspired by Persian and Arabic too to an extent. Hindi later on took inspiration from Urdu and became a language. It doesn't degrade you to accept that. A language being older or younger doesn't make it superior but the reason I mentioned it is because you're factually inaccurate. Urdu literature predates that of Hindi and that too over centuries. Also Afghani is not a language. Please learn a bit about the subject before you speak on it. Afghans speak many languages. They speak Pashto and Dari, a dialect of Persian in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Some of my relatives too speak Persian as their native language. You are uninformed on the origins of both Urdu and Hindi and want to satisfy your jingoistic impulses by distorting facts. You should absolutely love the language you speak which I believe is Hindi but being factually consistent is important. Urdu was inspired beautifully by Persian and some Arabic. Hindi was later inspired by Urdu. It shouldn't offend you so much so that you change the history of languages.
@tanmayt1224 жыл бұрын
In the Delhi region of India the native language was Khariboli, whose earliest form is known as Old Hindi. It belongs to the Western Hindi group of the Central Indo-Aryan languages. The Turko-Afghan Delhi Sultanate established Persian as its official language in India, a policy continued by the Mughal Empire, which extended over most of northern South Asia from the 16th to 18th centuries and cemented Persian influence on Hindustani, now known as Urdu. I wasn't trying to offend anyone, you took offense.
@tanmayt1224 жыл бұрын
@Mr Express Brother Pakistan was a part of India, I am not claiming anything. Why so much hate I just wrote what is written in History.
@aamnahere62504 жыл бұрын
@@tanmayt122 Khariboli was not old Hindi. It was Hindustani which somewhat influenced Urdu grammar besides Persian. Hindi too was influenced by Hindustani but it followed the already established structure of Urdu language. Urdu doesn't become as old as Persian because it's influenced by it. English doesn't become Latin because of the vast influence it has on the language. Also Hindi is a lot more sanskritized. Urdu is Persianized. Just sharing grammatical structures of Hindustani doesn't make it the same language though they're definitely sister languages. In Hindi you say poorab, in Urdu, it's Mashriq. It's stree or mahila in Hindi, but aurat or khaatoon in Urdu. It's sundar in Hindi but khoobsurat or haseen in Urdu. It's dehaant in Hindi and inteqaal in Urdu. The vocabulary is almost entirely different because the vocabulary is influenced by different languages although the grammatical structure is influenced by Hindustani although in my personal opinion, also from Punjabi to some extent. I am not getting offended. I am simply correcting the false claims you're making.

This is not hindi but Urdu with a generous spattering of Arabic in between. This genre of poetry is called Na'at, which is written in respect, and praise of our Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. The honor and respect of our Prophet is more to us than our own. Mostly the West has a hard time understanding this sentiment and attachment. For us this is woven in the fabric of our daily lives. The poetry written to Praise God is called Hamd.
