What's the difference between 刚刚 and 刚才？

Thank you for your question and wish you a happy new year. According to my understanding, 刚刚 and 刚才 have slightly different meanings, 刚才 means ‘just now’ while 刚刚 means ‘newly’ and ‘just’. Therefore, in some cases they are interchangeable, but more specifically 刚刚 can be used to describe both verbs and adjectives, e.g. 刚刚好(just good enough)，刚刚到(just arrived)，while 刚才 is used to describe the time when things happened only.
