All the response can be a bit overwhelming, yeah? Thanks for doing an honest & fun reaction vid. As many have suggested, watching "Who is BTS?: The Seven Members of Bangtan" can be really helpful in identifying who's who when you watch their mv's. (Don't try to figure out who they are based on hair color, as they change colors frequently!) BTS has 4 vocalists and 3 rappers, though the rappers do occasionally sing, and 1 of the singers did sometimes rap in their early stuff. Some less confusing vids to check out are Fire, Dope, Save Me, DNA, Mic Drop, and Idol. Make sure to turn on Closed Captions when you watch, and pause to read if you need to! All of those mv's have a good mix of visuals and dance. And their dancing is awesome! They usually make dance practice vids for almost all of their mv's, so check those out if dance is your thing. If you want to check out their early stuff, please know that when they debuted in June of 2013 they were originally more of a hip-hop group, and they had a very different look and sound in their earliest videos, "No More Dream," "We are Bulletproof Pt. 2," and "N.O." They were also very young, ranging in age from 15 to 20 at the time. Their next group of mv's include "Boy in Luv" and "Danger," which both have amazing dance practice vids. :)) I love BTS this vid is nice, but whenever I see "first time" and BTS in one phrase I can't help but to think that it's complicated :)) there are a lot of videos on KZbin that explain the videos, lyrics and "Easter eggs"/ hidden meanings of their songs. You actually have to know their story and stuff that happened or what the haters said about them, in order for you to get every hidden message or concept from their creations :) Also they are the first band that broke into the mainstream (in Korea) with songs that focused on problems such as suicide, self harm, abuse/violence, drugs, hatred towards sexual orientation, bulling and so on... the vids are connected to each-other so you have to watch them in a certain order to get the story :)

Just some things you should know: Their name Bulletproof Boy Scouts means to deflect the criticisms and struggles that are imposed on others. Their concept as a group has always been tied to 'Youth', this is seen in their MVs, Lyrics and ongoing storyline. They debuted from a small unknown company and are highly involved in the creative process of their music, with members writing and composing the majority of songs whilst also having a hand in producing and choreographing. Their lyrics hold so much substance and meaning. Ever since the beginning they've addressed social and political issues which reflect youth. For instance; mental health, the harsh education system, losing ones sense of identity. However they ultimately preach self love and self acceptance. The reason as to why they're so popular is because they are so genuine in their Music and personalities. I stan them for not only their talent and hardwork but for what they represent. They have honestly had such a positive impact on so many people's lives but people often dismiss or downplay them because they don't really understand who they are. Blood, Sweat and Tears is about when you give into temptation and lose your innocence. When they say the word that kind of sounds like money money money . It's actually more more more. The english translation of the lyrics goes something along like I want it more more more. Not only it's a continuation of the storyline but the it's also inspired by the book Demian by Hermann Hesse. In terms of the storyline, the storyline has started when they debuted so almost 6 yrs in the making.

Plus, for RUN, I'd say to watch that with the understanding that it's part of a storyline as well, and not for a first viewing with no expectations.

The storyline starts from the very beginning. Their school trilogy. But BTS recently released a webtoon called “Save Me”. I recommend it if you two want to know more. The thing with the snickers is... theres so much back story.. so they all have issues in their past and you maybe need to see I NEED YOU and some more videos to fully get it. In short, Hobi (JHOPE) was abandoned by his mom as a child. she took him to a fair and gave him a snickers bar and asked him to shut his hide and count till 10 till she hid.. and when he opened his eye she had left him for good. so snickers are a part of his trauma. there is more with Yoongi/SUGA and Fire.. RM?Namjoon and reflection.. you ought to see the WINGS solo videos for get some more pieces of the puzzle.. and sigh i dunno. theres so much. Theres a new comic book series called SAVE ME on the storyline.. just search for HYYH/WINGS BTS theory videos and .. i dunno.. try to hold on to your sanity. As you know, BTS music (albums, MV, choreography) is all connected. It's all in BU or Bangtan Universe. There's a story that's connecting all of them. For the last 4 years, it has been revealed slowly through their MVs, albums, highlight reels etc. ARMYs have been trying to connect through theories. BTS has just released a webtoon entitled Save Me that's slowly unravelling what really happened. It's currently in its 5th ep.

The snickers bars have a sad meaning to them. They symbolize J-hope (the one who was laying on them) mother abandoning him at a theme park when he was a kid. (Not in real life, it's for the music video story line.) The fire that Suga was sitting in a chair and watching holds significance with Suga's storyline just as the water hold significance with Jimin storyline. The flower also holds significance in the storyline. (The pink one in the glass thing at the beginning of the video) Also none of that was in CG, except the fire witch was real, they just amplified it to look bigger.

The editing on this video is really funny lol (the zooms and captions). After about 5 years, one day I started to watch videos on YT, in particular "who is bts" the 7 members...And I don't know what happened but suddenly I fell in love with them!!! You won’t understand the video bc it’s apart of a storyline that runs through BTS’s music and MVs. There is a lot of symbolism in the all the videos you watched that links to other MVs. It’s call the BTS Universe and in it all the members of bts have specific characters, the storyline is very complex and there is a lot of crossover between albums and bts music videos and performances and songs, it’s honestly crazy and it blows my mind. Just about everything is connected. There are certain things that are seen throughout several MVs like butterflies, specific flowers, the windows with the curtains, fire, water and a lot more

Y’alls reaction to BS&T is priceless 🤣 but mainly they have a storyline to their MVs. It’s about youth then the coming of age from youth to man and the evils of growing up. If you notice during Run they were still acting like a band of rebels but on BS&T Jin (the one you saw kiss the statue) was slowly deviating from the group because he’s the oldest irl in the group. He probably was the first one to leave them (in the storyline w/c you can read in a Webtoon called “Save Me”, and this all used to be a theory ARMY -their fans -used to obsess over to understand the meaning behind their MVs).

Best way to understand BTS MV is watching from first one because they are all connected in story flow continuously. One of MV explained what is the Sneaker bar signified for one of boy's life and how he suffering from it.
