TWISTED OAKS MTB💥A day of drops

My first visit to Twisted Oaks Bikepark and I'm sure it won't be my last. So many different jump lines to hone your skills on. I was not getting on with the jumps on this day but I did manage to tick off some of the drop lines we rode. Top day out with Jon as always and I'm sure we'll be back again at some point.

nice vid! is better not watching pros rip things up, and see the progression from a normal rider (no offence, as you're better than me lol) on the 4x track, was that peddling hard or mostly just rolling down? this bike park is on my list, but is a bit of a travel for me from London!

Hey, cheers and thanks for watching. The 4X track is pretty flowy so a few pedal strokes to get going but then it's good. You also have Phoenix Bikepark 45mins away (I've not been here yet) and Chicksands another 1hr from that (separate edit on my channel) if you wanted to make a weekend of it.

This is my closest option and even at the start of last year I could get down the 4x track with no real issue. A little hop of the drop and the step up is okay to case. There are roll arounds for the bits at the end which I am still not ready for but the wall ride is awesome. The woods to the right of the dual track have some fun stuff as well and there is an XC loop too which is full of nice little features. Even some training jumps near the Jake and Elwood blue trail at the beginning but don’t make my mistake as last time I went there solo I tried the training gap jumps and had a pretty bad case and crash, nothing broken but my old body is taking it’s time healing and I have not ridden in two weeks😢

Yeah I enjoyed Twisted but it was a very jumpy place which I'm pretty rubbish at so avoided most of it. Would be nice if they put some tech runs in the trees to mix things up.
