Words cannot express how much I LOVE this game. Some people may find this outlandish, but this game was my version of GTA San Andreas, especially since I didn't own it growing up. This has been and still is one of my favorite titles of all time. So many hours of my life poured into playing through it, finding any environmental glitches, you name it. Hell, vibing out to the in-game soundtrack makes it all the more enjoyable. I'm so glad to see that Ray played this on stream. This is a nostalgia trip that I'll never get tired of.

I dumped several of my Bonus Cruisin' upgrades into martial arts hoping it would make the hand-to-hand bits less miserable... it didn't. Worse, passing on the pistol and car upgrades made the other parts of the game tougher, too. This was not an easy game to figure out.

This game brings back so much nostalgia. One particular memory unfortunately burned into my mind was about a mission I vaguely remember. The mission included fighting strippers who's models actually had tits. And of course, the moment I start the fight with them- my mom walks in! How parents pick the absolute worst time to walk into your room as a kid, I don't know. Like a special talent or something.

@Aadj-bf8wr3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it had different branching story endings. Forgot how many tho?
@JeedyJay3 жыл бұрын
You didn't get upgrades unless you succeeded in all the missions, and it might have prevented the later routes... but yes. Some of the fail-throughs even made for easier scenarios. For example, failing to make it to the bank in time near the end of the first route means that the jerk FBI guy sends his men in before you bet there, causing a bloodbath - which means there's no hostages to look out for during the tower climb.

After watching the entirety of this stream, I can honestly say that Ray should've never played the GameCube version. He should've gotten the PS2 version and played it through PCSX2 somehow. Plus, he barely took the time to learn the control schemes and practice it so he can find his footing. I will say as I'm typing this, I'm glad KZbin didn't strip all of the audio from this stream despite Ray playing a lot of copyrighted music. Besides that, this was so much fun to watch, just wanted to give some criticism.

I don't know if he will... True Crime: New York didn't release as intended... it was rushed and had way too many bugs and glitches. Not only that, but it was missing literal content, like story elements and certain gameplay scenes. But hey, Modders may have fixed it. He'll have to look on one of those sites. I don't like modding, nor support emulators, but in order to play some of these older games (especially on stream or for a video) you kinda have to.

If you ever play TC Streets of NY do not (No matter what) play it with Keyboard and Mouse. You will spend a miserable time with fistfights in that game. I gave up during the second mission fighting with the mouse and used the numpad (You can't switch controls) and yeah, it was mildly better.
