Looks like they need apparatus placement training. If that thing had lit off, they would have lost a ladder truck and an engine. There was plenty of reach on the aerial, so the truck shield have been placed on the roadway, not only for exposure liability, but to also provide a larger and safer work zone for the firefighters

@@gregggoss2210 NEELEDES CALIFORNA. times did changs for oud paid ca call volunteer till the late 90s. now you will be a paramedic to fight fire. station 31 32.. politics politics.. call and ask.

As a former Truck Co Engineer i wouldve placed the Ladder at the front right corner of the building allowing easier access to the Alpha and Delta sides of the building. And no ground ladders anywhere.
