Two Drills to Increase Pitching Velocity

One of the biggest factors in gaining pitching velocity and arm care is a pitchers ability to create hip to shoulder separation. This video walks you through two drills to help increase your separation and throw harder.

Absolutely! The throwing technique is still the same. Only thing with an infielder is you want to have shorter arm action to have a quicker release so you can throw runners out. Pitchers will develop longer arm motions to help maximize their velocity. Hope this helps!

Good very basic simple drills. Not overly hard. The hip and shoulder separation is number 1 key to velocity. Shoulders have to be closed at foot strike. Start opening shoulders too soon kills the velocity. This is why I love these drills.
