Gorgeous desolation. It seems all dead, and then suddenly a little bush w/ golden flowers. It's why some of us love the desert. Beauty is so hard-earned there.

One thing we all learn from Wonderhussy travel adventures, is that there so much more to see outside of the strip...its amazing where her channel will take us...her videos and narratives are always addictive and full of information... i have to catch my breath from this hike...

What a coincidence. I just did did Desolation Canyon on March 27th and Mosaic Canyon on March 28th. Death Valley may look desolate, but there is a stark beauty that isn't difficult to appreciate.

Beautiful place! Thanks, Sarah and Jenni, for taking us there. A plant!!!! What a view from the top! Wow!!!! The hiking skirt was appropriate and modest in the filming. Why does this landscape look so alien, like another planet! Awesome, both of you!

Death Valley is such an incredible place, a photographer's dream. So many different Landscapes to see so many Treasures to discover. It as if you're on another planet. But be careful, it's a dangerous place.

Well I subbed to Jenni's Channel, if she's your friend, she mine. Interesting skirt you have there, you look great in it. Watching you hiking up that hill kicked in my PTSD, I loved my days in the Marine Corps but I hated hiking up Mountains and with the gear I had to carry was back breaking, that's why my knees are shot mostly. Love to hang out with you someday and tell you war stories, if I run out I'll make some up😅😅😅. I have a few books I'm sending you, I know you will enjoy as much as I have. I've been collecting books as long as you have been alive. Your a wonderful young lady Sarah Jane and I forgot it was Wednesday, so this is why I'm checking in so late. I will see you Sunday, it seems you have taken this up as a new day for your videos, so until then. Love from old Kenny.👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸❤

Who'd a thunk that such a desolate location would be a place that was magical and otherworldly in a great film like Star Wars. Thanks for the adventure.

We enjoyed hiking Desolation Canyon a few years back…your video made me want to go back again to hike it…oh we did subscribe to Jenni’s channel. Death Valley is one of favorite places to go…..we golf there weekly instead of the course three miles from our home in Pahrump. We also enjoy hiking there as well…….in fact we consider Death Valley almost like our backyard ….

Not to nitpick, but it was the Sand People that rode on Banthas. Jawas travelled around in a giant steel transport tank-thing.
@pixelpeter38833 жыл бұрын
Good contrast with the Raw Side of Vegas video you posted earlier WH. Actually, the contrast couldn't be bigger! Love that desert solitude! Regarding Star Wars: Jawa's didn't ride on Bantha's, they roamed around the desert in huge crawlers. It were the Sandpeople that rode the Bantha's ;-) (but just noticed others have already pointed that out)

15:35 "Life - uh, uh, uh - finds a way." - Jeff Goldblum (as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park). Interesting that you chose a hiking skirt. Many women (and a few men) have posted videos of themselves wearing skirts while hiking the Appalachian Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and the Pacific Crest Trail. Seems like it would obviate some of the chafing and "butter-churning" on hot desert stretches. I used to be one of those desert mountain goats some years back. The memories of climbing desert buttes and dry waterfalls rekindle watching you and Jenni scramble. Stay safe out there.

I subscribed to Jenny's channel. Hope she's got some good content. I'm a rocker from the '60s so I don't normally listen to a lot of modern music, but I like a lot of what I've been hearing over the last couple of years. I heard one today about "You don't own the world it belongs to me" or something like that. Really liked it. So maybe good music is making a comeback. I like songs that tell a story.
