Two men who study the ‘sweet science” in North Philadelphia are helping to keep kids safe by giving them a safe place to be, in a boxing gym.
Former Philadelphia welterweight Two Gun Johnny Barr got his nickname from the power in his fists while taking on opponents in the mid 1970’s. He knows first hand how tough the North Philly streets can be.
