Meditation is never boring because it brings us in touch with consciousness. The shape is dead, and the essence is alive. Consciousness is the essence of all things. To touch the essence, the concentration is necessary. There are two methods to achieve concentration, the hard and easy one, in this video Dada explains both.
00:08 Why mind can be distracted in meditation
02:46 What we explore in meditation
07:37 How to concentrate mind and reject thoughts
15:00 How mantra works
16:14 How to do meditation if the mind is too busy
19:45 Meditation as a science of subject

Dada, 2 weeks ago I tried what u said to search for who is sucking the thought to get pleasure from. Suddenly explosion happened and found my self crying and laughing at the ego self. Since then my life has changed, I feel Baba is driving my life now. Thank you from my bottom of my heart❤

Recently discovered this channel and am really enjoying and loving the content! But, as a scientist myself (Msc in environmental sciences), I enjoyed this video even more! I always try to instigate my scientist peers to do inner research. I agree that a true scientist would research both externally and internally. I've been trying to do that.

What a beautiful way of putting the science n spirituality from a modern man s perspective! If you have not studied it, how can you say you dont believe it exists?! This is no science to reject something before even researching on it! Wonderful!the more I'm following your discourses Dada, more am I getting fascinated by what Sri Sri Anandamurti has been as a guru!🙏🙏🙏

You have learned very much. Where we have to focus our mind in meditation, you have correctly stated. Explore more. Something more need to be explored. The centre is called the primordial, Purusottama. But there are other aspects of practice to completely dissolve samsara without which it is not possible to attain complete oneness. You are teaching very well and I really hope you will learn the highest technique. Oneness is the highest goal and the learning the right techniques matter most.

Hi John, This question was posed to one of the Sannyasins of Shringeri Math in South of India, and he guided that person to Durga Suktham. This tells that all forces (both evil and good) in the universe are manifestation of supreme being - so we dont need to have repercussions for evil with in us and outside. You can hear to the Devi Sukta in you tube videos . its meaning @ astro121.com/index.php/durga-saptashati-in-english/rigvedoktam-devi-suktam.

Hello sir! I've been practicing meditation for more than an year and I experienced some really "great" things, I traveled outside my body, I've seen things from the future, while outside my body, in the "spiritual" world I met many beings, I've even searched for the Creator.I met what I call the Christ several times, I was face to face with Christ while He was standing on the cross. I've observed the lives of other people, I channeled messages, in other words, I heard voices talking in my head telling me things and this only happened while in deep meditation. I've seem myself as an angel of light, having an armor of light and wings, I've also seen negative entities, demons if you want. What do you say about all of this? My life also improved tremendously but I feel that I am lacking something and I can't reach the next "stage".All of this started when I started to meditate, I also had strange experiences in past but nothing like this.
