So I’ve done everything you said in the video but for some reason my amp designer still isn’t giving me the option to choose between the dual mono signals. Any suggestions?

We’re you able to get as far as loading amp designer in dual mono? Or are you saying that “dual mono” doesn’t appear in the drop down in the plugin menu?

No, and that is the issue. I’m not able to load amp designer in as dual mono. The only option appearing is stereo.

Is there anything other plugin ahead of it in the signal chain? The direction mixer should be set to: mono -> stereo. If you have any other plugins in front of the amp they would need to be set to: stereo.

Nope I just started a new project, created an empty audio track for DI guitar. No plug-ins on yet it. I add the direction mixer as mono -> stereo. Then try to add the amp designer plug-in but the only option available is stereo. And within the plug-in there is no option to edit the left/right audio and mic placement. Could my Logic Pro X possible be out of date and not support dual mono? Or maybe my project settings are incorrect?

That is a stumper friend! I’m trying to create a scenario where the dual mono option is not available. For me the only time it doesn’t show up is on a mono track without the direction mixer. Can you normally access dual mono in other uses/plugins? It’s probably something obvious but I’m not seeing it.
