Jetty fishing for big shark bait, monster redfish and speckled trout on lures. The flair hawk has been sitting in my bag for a while but never really used them much. 3oz spoon has always been my go-to but I wanted to test them out. Sad nobody recognized rose online.

Right! I made that mistake exactly once and that was only because the fish was about 15'' and I figured he wouldn't be able to get me too bad. Stopped bleeding about 20 minutes later.

I did that after not catching a speckled trout for a while. Dropped it in the rocks on a jetty never to be seen again, it was the catch of the day too.

From Hawaii too and I fish here in florida with my Pili lures. The ulua here RIP uhm but most times have to be flat water for the floating lures. The jack here bite more down gotta work at bringing uhm up high I noticed. And they no bite slide bait here sharks get uhm first. Hawaii the eels here the sharks. 🤙🏾

Port A and it's bays have some of the most active waters iv fished. Gotta keep an eye out on your pole bc the suckers will jack your bait but it keeps you on your toes all you need is a pole and bait. Mullet, croakers shrimp and lady fish is whats hot in the Texas waters

you catch the largest sharks from hurricanes. They caught a 5 foot Great White by Saint Louis Pass. In Galveston, TX during Ike. I shit you not. I almost had a sailfish from 61st pier. About 12 yrs ago. People saw him jump in the air a few times. Spit the hook out. Then a freaking Dolphin ran with it too.

Best wear fishing gloves on both hands on the Aransas jetties or any other jetty. One stumble and your hand is going to the ER. Long pants and good shoes, too. Been there, done that. Fish Monkey makes some really good gloves with extra leather pads.

Nice job killing a bull red. Do some research on mortality rates on improper fish handling of large fish and not to mention no fish will get barotrauma being caught from the jetty. No need to vent unless they are being brought from over 50 feet of water
