Montana is truly a beautiful state. I retired in early 2023, took a month to build out a simple truck bed camper. Took my maiden voyage from up state NY to Glacier NP early June. Stopping at as many NP or forests as i could. A solo trip about 3 weeks in length. Camped in and out of the glacier park, the majority of the spots were picture perfect. So far, it is my best camp trip to date. Can't wait to return then maybe head up north to the Banff area. Thanks for bringing us along on your trip. Looks like you had a great time.

Montana is great, have many memories while in Montana. Traveling by motorcycle, going skiing at Whitefish, Bozeman,and Red Lodge. Going to Glacier and riding The Going to the Sun road.

It's us adventurers that are glad YOU take us along. I was along that route you took last summer. I was astounded by the incredible amount of insect or disease damage along "43". Long stretches where everything was dead. Incredible! A lot of tinder for a fire to start too. Oh, by the way, there is NO bad time to take a trip. Especially in Montana. We had Cappy and his group from 410 expeditions meet us by Seeley lake for a meet up a few years ago and had a great time. I also am known as Big Sky Overlanding. Thanks for the kind words! Really want to just show folks that it’s about getting out to camp and enjoying it even with a spur of bad weather. It’s the carhart Yukon extreme. Thing has been bullet proof in rain, wind and snow. It’s incredibly warm and I don’t feel any wind through it.
