Oops we accidentally made a movie! For the uninitiated, a Soul Link is a cooperative two player Nuzlocke where you and your partner's Pokémon are linked together. If one Pokémon faints then whatever it's linked with is gone as well. We actually completed a Soul Link of Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green a few months ago, but Johto turned out to be quite the emotional rollercoaster. This video was never meant to be as long as it was, but it kind of just kept growing out of our control. We had a ton of fun with Heart Gold and Soul Silver so there was a ton of stuff to share from our Soul Link.

Something I appreciate in this video is the editing. I always like how you do the story telling and how it switches between the Animal Crossing avatars and the game for emotion, but there are all these little things. How you get both your characters on screen. The 'extreme' death animations. Going down in separate lifts. IT really makes me look forward to these type of story time videos.

Man I love these so much. Have you two ever thought of doing a Rival lock. Its something I thought about and it's a 2 player nuzlock but instead of a thing like life link. You basically play as a nuzlock but after every gym you would battle each other. But that's like the only battles you wont lose pokemon in. Idk something I always wanted to do with a significant other. That way we can see the true pokemon champion
