It’s admirable that you are able to admit that you haven’t always been a good big sister. As a youngest sibling, I can say that I used to always look up to my older siblings when I was little, and I copied their behavioral patterns. It must be tough when you realize you weren’t always able to set a good example for your younger sibling. But realizing you were both kids back then and everything can be fixed is so important 💚

I can relate to this so much. I´m a big sister to my 1 and 1/2 year younger brother and I was such a shitty big sister when I was younger. I never included him, I always wanted to do everything alone and I feel so bad for it now, I wish I knew better back then. I´m grateful to him that he didn´t build resentment towards me and I´m trying my best to build a better relationship with him now that we´re older (I´m 27 and he´s 25).
