Thank you, Barbara! I have to admit that when I first glanced at your comment I thought you were saying that I need to lose weight. Your actual comment was much better 🤣

Too funny, of course you don't need to loose weight.

Great explanation of stepping with the foot and stepping from the foot.... foot lead vs body lead. This was a difficult concept when I was first learning... although I never had it explained like this... Your explanation would have saved a lot of time and confusion.

I haven't logged on to my Instagram account in years but since you sent me on this little scavenger hunt I had to log on. You young people are going to force me to keep up with my social media. Excellent dance tips! I especially appreciate your tips on proper dance hall etiquette regarding dips. Thanks!

I see youre from the houston area.. what places do you go dancing on the weekends??
@countrydancex4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! We (as in Anthony and Rose) unfortunately don’t get out dancing as much as we’d like to anymore. Having a 5 and a 2 year old at home has a tendency to limit your grown up time lol However, when we do go out we sometimes go to Big Texas, Wild West or Stampede. Those are also where our instructors and students go most.

Good tips but I've never liked the term "It's all about her." Do women really feel that way?
@countrydancex4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think most women feel that way. The point is that the leader should feel that way and lead as if that were fact.

My experience has been when I make it all about her so she can look good... there are other payoffs. Such as, more women asking me for dances, a good reputation all around and just more fun!
