Hey! If you just starting out I would recommend trying spray paint first. But if you sure to airbrush some stuff: You will need a compressor, the airbrush: started with an about 40€ cheap airbrush on amazon, works still pretty good, best bang for the buck (would recommend it as first airbrush) and some paints (dont by cheap stuff here, would recommend Tamiya Acrylic Paint for example) and some cleaning stuff, bought it from amazon as well (cheap)

@@japantravelsnstuff7044 Never tried one, I have one for universal use, but i guess it's fine. Would say to spent not too less money on that, it's pretty important that you can regulate your air pressure (2-3.5 bar, for cleaning the airbrush I go up to 5-6 bar)

@@japantravelsnstuff7044 I use double action airbrush, so you can regulate when air is flowing and how much paint at the same time. Usually Tamiya makes really good stuff, especially paint supplies and materials like plastic, tape,... but don't know how good their mechanical stuff is, pretty sure another company is making those for them. For a good Airbrush: I use a "Harder and Steenbeck" (Evolution Cr +) they make good airbrushes, Ive also heard that "Iwata" makes decent ones. Both have also "Starter" airbrushes in a range of 100€

Yes, the first time was for more stability, because I sanded it all the way down and made an even base by adding that plastic piece (PLA/Styrene by Tamiya). This one has a thickness of like 1mm or 0.5mm. At 6:10 I used 0.2mm plastic to add a splitter, but I wouldnt recommend to use such thin plastic to make it more stable. It's just too thin for that.

I usually just unrivet the car with a drill and then put a M2 screw in there. So you dont really have to "crack" it open ;D

For those audis: maybe 20 hours of working time I guess. The mad mike widebody lambo huracan took me over 30 hours to finish (I counted them), without waiting time of course. So in general for a max custom build (body kit, repaint, detail, stance, etc) it takes about litle bit under a month to finish it. But I work on more than one project at a time, so thats fine.

@@neoshirako5520 scale is 1:64 obviously, dimensions: 10mm diameter on regular rims, on those "tuner" rims 8mm, width same as the stock HW tires. But smaller ones are better for stancing
