Hostess sold the company many years ago and when the new owners reopened the company the products were smaller and cheaper made. Hostesses reputation was built on the original fresh baked products made by the original bakery. The products today can't even compete with the 'Little Debbie' products which was once a cheaper version of Hostess products.

If you really like peanut butter cookies, you should try the 1, 1 and 1 recipe. 1 egg, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup peanut butter. Mix together and then make dough into balls about the size of a ping pong ball. Smash them gently with a fork and then bake a 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes. Best cookies ever!

The thing about box cake mix us they are scientifically engendered to make a perfect cake that is even hard for professional bakers to match. Originally they achieved this with you only needing to add water, but they where ahead of their time and pepole didn't think it could be that easy, so they made it so you had to add the egg and oil too so you felt like you made it from scratch and then pepole started buying it, the first box mix was made in the 30s.

Hey guys. Just an FYI. You don’t have to refrigerate the Betty Crocker cookie packages, they are shelf stable so you can store them on the shelf like you would canned goods. Same for the easy squeeze squirt cheese in the spray can, it does not need refrigerated after opening

Our cats love boxes. We have 6 cats. Onyx and Jinx are our 2 black cats. Gypsy came along after a quick trip to Walmart, where we found him in the shopping cart area and he slept in my purse during the shopping trip. Copper is an orange tabby and was given to us by an old high school friend of mine. Then came Blue, who is a Himalayan. He was thrown out of a car on our street. I didn’t want another cat, but my husband, Jason, brought him in anyway and instantly fell in love. Sam is our baby orange tabby. He was found at our local car wash and taken home by a close friend of mine. Crystal called me up and said, I went and got that cat at the car wash that they posted on Facebook and now Eric is threatening divorce. You gotta take this cat. I said no, get yourself an attorney. LOL. Then she sent me a closeup of this cat. He was so cute. I said yeah, Jason’s home today just take him to the house. Jason called me and said why the hell did Crystal just drop a baby kitten off here? I said I have no idea what you’re talking about. Anyway, that’s how we got our 6 cats. And that is it. No more. Sure, Vanessa. Well, the cats broke into our office last night and turned over the shredder box and had a party. There was shredded paper everywhere this morning. I guess it could have been a lot worse. There was a lot of cussing and guilty/not guilty kitty faces this morning, but they wormed their way back into our hearts with some purring, head butting and “making biscuits” with their paws on Daddy’s chest. We also have a 10 year old 95 pound black lab named Ruby, who sleeps all day on her big-ass bed and will eat anything you put in front of her. Except oranges. She hates oranges. Love your fur babies and I love your channel. Carol, you are beautiful. You have beautiful eyes that sparkle like diamonds and your skin is flawless. Recky, I love your smile and your sense of humor. I kind of wish we were neighbors. We love to cook and drink beer and listen to music. Jason, I and my daughter, Gabby, are all T-shirt freaks. I have two boxes of Cheddar Bay Biscuits right now. My advice on cooking them.... 1) increase the cheddar cheese ratio....... to 1 cup sharp yellow cheddar & add a half cup sharp white cheddar 2) for the garlic herb butter topping....... add in 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder & 1/4 teaspoon onion powder This will give a more accurate taste of the biscuits you get at the restaurant......hot and fresh 😋 ENJOY! 😋

One thing about making biscuits- homemade or a mix- don't OVER MIX! You stir it until the dry and liquid are barely combined! If it's over mixed, they'll taste fine but come out tough!

Those chips are made for cookies. you could add them to the peanutbutter cookie mix for extra flavor. I would put some chips in the brownie mix too. Betty crocker mixes don't have a lot of flavor. You can put chips in the coffe cake and pancake mix too.

1:15:18 I wish I could see your faces when you find out that the crackers are cheese flavored. I kept waiting for you to comment on how crazy it is that peanut Butter on a cheese cracker works and is good, but it appears you assumed it's just normal cracker that is orange, but they are made orange so you can easily tell the difference between the normal and cheese cracker when you buy them. Both cracker types can be had with either peanut butter or cheese in the middle. 😋

Hi Carol & Recky, hello from Dallas; love your long unboxing; am a former Southern California resident who moved here 30 years ago; moved from hot with earthquakes to hot with tornados; here in Texas we laughingly say the calendar is January, February, March & Summer; we very rarely get extremely cold weather & when we do, we freak out(don’t know how to drive in it, as in Covid, we strip the store shelves of toilet paper & stay inside if at all possible. Recky and Carol, the word you're looking for when there's a lot of moisture in the air is humid. rasberry zinggers have that artificial rasberry flavor which is "interesting", snoballs have that stale marshmellow coating. yes, Carol is correct you had the regular cheetos mac and cheese.

If you have breakfast sausage cook it in a skillet first then add the gravy mix and milk to that pan and make your gravy like that. Prepare some eggs how you prefer them then pour the gravy over your briskets and eggs delicious👍😁

Chocolate solids are treated with an alkalizing agent to reduce the natural acidity of cocoa, giving it a less bitter taste (and darker colour) compared to "natural cocoa" extracted with the Broma process. It forms the basis for much of modern chocolate, and is used in ice cream, hot chocolate, and baking. So, if you see the words "Dutch- Processed," this is what it means. I cook and bake a lot, so I have preferences when it comes to working with cocoa and chocolate. I like using Valrhona and Callebaut chocolate. I use Valrhona cocoa for its smoky aroma and deep color and flavour. It is in the "Dutch- Process" category of cocoa powder.

we call hot humid days like that as muggy... you make cookies with the peanutbutter chips. add them to the peanut butter cooki mix you got, or just make a brownie or chocolate cookie...if you lay them right on top of brownies as soon as you take them out from the oven, lay them on top to melt and then get hard, yum.... i love nutty buddy
