In the hands of a skilled operator, RFA will not harm nerves in the neck. The rate of nodule regrowth is statistically very low.

It depends where you go. RFA is actually available for certain thyroid cancers, but you have to be willing/able to travel to those doctors.

@@ItsmeJenagain where? My 16 year old daughter just got results back today for level 5 suspicious nodule. Its one step down from straight cancer but Dr immediately said lien would be full thyroid removal !! She’s a singer and actor plus only 16! We need someone to help without surgery. Willing to travel.
