Here's my newest two week big family of 9+ grocery shopping haul from Aldi and just a little Walmart. :) Sorry this took a few extra days. Had some uploading errors etc. This large family grocery shopping haul came in at just under $400 which breaks down to about $22 per family member per week, only $3.17 per DAY!!! Click here for the full two-week meal plan with helpful links, large family recipes, and more bit.ly/TwoWeekB...

a delicious way to eat tuna is to boil some eggs and cut them like you would for deviled eggs, mix the yolks with your tuna and make it like tuna salad and put it in the eggs like deviled eggs. so yummy!

After last week, I learned to check my receipt before I leave the store. I bought a dozen donuts, but the cashier rang up 12 dozen. If I didn't see that, I would've paid $87.00 for a dozen donuts!

I watch another channel called She's In Her Apron, and she makes lots of freezer pb&j's. She uses not only white bread but her own homemade bread. She said the trick to non soggy sammies is to spread peanut butter on both pieces of bread and put jelly in between. The peanut butter acts as a barrier so the jelly can't sog up the bread lol.

Just a quick tip for keeping lettuce fresh after it's been shredded/chopped....Mason jars keeps it fresh and also, whatever else you store it in, place a paper towel inside along with the lettuce. It keeps for a long time. I've been a subscriber for a while now, love your channel. Beautiful family!

Love your hauls! Ranch dressing is actually a great thing to pair with veggies because the fat in the ranch helps our body absorb the fat soluble vitamins in the veggies 😊 I love how real life you guys are!

It's only my husband and I (no babies here until we can make $15k for IVF :( ) and so far, so good! I have done three days so far. Think I can get four maybe five more days out of it, with more sides left over for the future! I feel good about not spending money on groceries for a few days. :) Putting that money towards our IVF fund. Haha. Anything helps! Thank you for all you do!!

For the Kiwi, use a paper towel to rub off the fuzzy part of the kiwi, rinse with water and then you can eat the skin too. I've never done it but my office mate used to do this on the daily.

Peel the kiwi fruit, slice them up and enjoy in a fruit salad or on cereal for breakfast or just eat like an apple. But don't eat the skin! Also here in Australia we can also get the gold kiwi fruit, same as those except golden yellow inside :) For your homeschool facts, they grow on a vine like a passionfruit. You can also dice them up, blend with some pineapple or banana and a smidge of soda water or water and add to a smoothie or freeze that mix in an ice block tray for adding to cold water or making ice blocks for the kids.

I've also found that the later you leave it the better/quicker the success. I tried too early with my first two and it was a mistake, lots of accidents because they were quite clearly not physically ready. By number six I waited until he was showing signs of wanting to be dry [and had dry nappies each morning] and we gave it a shot and he was instantly dry day and night. Can't even remember him having any accidents. He was probably 2 1/2 ++ by this time. xx

Amazing!! I never feel guilty about special treats that I buy. I don't usually buy cookies cuz i love to make my own & i make my own candies too, but sometimes i splurge & buy chips, however i do make my own chips occasionally. We love to cook so we have loads of fun! My kids (teens) can now cook anything & everything so we take turns sometimes. WE now cook ahead like you do, just cheaper that way. And I tweak recipes. I made vegetable soup with frigerator left overs, turned out great. Fed my neighbors too, cuz they smelled the soup & asked if they could try it. I made cornbread to go with it. I added 3 cups of peanut butter to it....very good!

my husband has worked in the manufactoring of many types of filters in general and specifically many types made for water, whether pleated, string wound, osmosis, now he works in installation of home filter systems and different issues require different types of equipment or additives to filter water, like sulfur needs either agitation or added oxygen via added peroxide solution to remove sulfur, different iron levels require different additions &/ or filters. a simple thing to look into ( at least till i ask my hubby later whats best ) but an RO (reverse osmosis ) system installed at the faucet may help provide a more convenient source of water they purify around 5 gal a day kitchen is the usual sight ( but whatever suits ur needs works too) a switch to either pyrify or not or a different smaller faucet next to commonly used faucet are options to access ro water without using it all up everytime water needs accessed from that location.

Eating my cottage cheese and tomatoes from Aldi while I watch your video. :) I just attempted my first monthly shop for our family of seven. Our blackberries were only .90! I took my husband with me and he found the deal on the blackberries and then when we went to Meijer, first thing we see when we walk in are blackberries, and my husband couldn't believe how much more the blackberries cost. We shop Aldi first then go to Meijer or Wal-Mart for whatever we can't find.

Jamerrill, I have watched your channel from the beginning and just love ya. I have always wanted to say this but try to mind my own business...haha. It seems you feel you must always rationalize what you spend on your groceries to your viewers, or make sure you make everyone understand your hauls are healthy foods.... I also make grocery haul videos - I know the "hate comments" that exist out there. I just want to offer you some support. It is your business alone what you feed your kiddos .... you just shop as you wish. You do a great job...do not let the ill opinions of others tarnish your spirit. If you want to buy $330 in doritos..then LET IT BE DONE! ha.... Support to us grocery haulers! (and I hope you didn't feel that comment was out of line. :) )

Hehe it's so funny hearing you say Kiwis talking about the fruit! Whenever you said it, I automatically thought of it as the people (like me - from NZ)! And how I eat kiwis - with the green ones I cut them in half and then scoop it out with a spoon, and with the gold ones (not sure if you can get them in the US) I *sometimes* eat them like an apple! Depends how fuzzy they are (green ones tend to be more fuzzy).

I agree about the macaroni! My family is not nearly as large as yours, we are a family of four. However, we are still a busy family and stuff happens from time-to-time that will cause us to get off of the regularly scheduled meal plan. So, the other day at Wal-Mart, they had a six pack of the GV thick and creamy mac-n-cheese on sale for $1.98, which made it $.33 a box. Even though it was not on my list or on my meal plan, I grabbed a pack to have in the pantry for those times when we need a really quick meal. So, I am right there with you on the emergency mac-n-cheese!

I've been so into budgetting and meal planning lately so I'm always interested in finding new people to be subscribed to. I love your videos! It's so fun to watch the great deals you got for your huge family! It's just me, my husband, our 4 month old son, and my step daughter who is with us part-time but we're definitely on a budget and I save money when I can! Aldi is amazing !

If you scrub the kiwi with a damp rag or sponge, the hairs come off and the skin is easy to chew! :)

Hi there Jamerrill! I just love your videos, your hauls and especially the times you share a "day in the life" videos! I discovered your channel a few months ago and have probably watched most of your videos a couple of times. I made your crockpot chicken alfredo tonight for dinner and it was just delicious! We will be having your crockpot lasagna this weekend and might try your beans, rice and cornbread. Thank you for sharing with us! You are so blessed and we appreciate you. :)

Can you show us more on the trim healthy momma and/or more of your low carb swaps. I just recently decided to go low carb but I am completely lost. I can't believe how much food has carbs in it. I love your videos! Thanks and God bless!

I am a new subscriber to your channel and i am a expecting mom myself of my 3rd child. I have watched your grocery haul videos for two weeks and i myself planning a two week grocery haul myself being that im two weeks away from my due date. I really enjoy viewing the videos you upload. I have also made the crock pot chicken recipe with the red potatoes and it was great. You have given me a great example of how to stretch your dollar and get the most. I am anxious to see any uploaded videos if the diapers and wipes haul that you mentioned about doing at some point. Thank you for the great ideas and sharing what you do. 😊

I budget $150/wkly for groceries in my house (family of 4 adults - my sons are 16 & 21). I don't think that's bad. That includes lunches for my hubby and I (we both work outside the home). My 16 yr old eats at school - which I pay for $3/day.

We just got an Aldi locally, and my husband is dying to try it. I used to go to Aldi when I lived back East, but it's probably been 15 years or so. We're going to check it out soon, hoping for some great deals on veggies, eggs and yogurt.

My kids like the inside of the kiwi but I used to eat them like an apple too. They were perfect to throw into an on the go lunch.

In the UK our aldi is SO cheap for veggies! At Christmas they had carrots for 19p! I have seen broccoli for about 40p and you can get a bag of apples for about £1
