I had experienced that trim issue. Im running the spektrum 10 channel and have it set up like yours. When i trimmed level for slower flight would roll right when i would speed up. I found the "balancing" the wing ailerons to the elevons corrected the problem. I used my digital pitch gauge and made sure the flaps and aileros where equal in angle with the bottom of the wing with the plane on its back. I had the roll trim switch only on elevons and trimmed for level flight again. It had improved it alot the first flight and i had to make small subtrim adjustments to the wing aileron a couple times and send it back up and trim elevons for level flight until it didnt have that, what i called, speed roll. Is still get a little back and forth aileron like trim issue, but i think it has to do more with how the wings droop down a little making it more sensitive to a little play in the servo or control horns. Nature of the beast i guess. Im in my second f22 and it was the exact same oddity.
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
I've got it mostly dialed in at this point, off camera. But we'll see how it performs with the new Hitec servo upgrades on the wings. I'm betting some of it is slop from poor stock servos.

It'll depend on what you're looking for in a jet. The F/A-18 is more agile than the F-22 but has a more restricted flight envelope. Hopefully you wil see this comment since this is an older video., But, I figure if anyone can figure this problem out its got to be you!.. I have the FW 90mm F-22, the issue I am having is when I first plug the battery in all the gears work correctly, but when the nose gear is retracted, and I go to drop the gear, the Nose gear starts down before the gear door is open. I have checked all my connections, I have tried by-passing the blue box I have replaced the blue box, i have literally tried everything I could think of. I called MotionRC to see if they had come across that problem but they couldnt help. If I disconnect the battery while the gear is up it will work properly, but of course its unrealistic to disconnect the battery in flight. Something is messing up the sequencing. So again, 1. when battery is connected and gear is dropped, the door opens first as it should, 2. then when the gear is retracted, it functions correctly, but then 3. when I go to cycle the gear again to drop down, the nose gear starts down first and forces open the gear doors. No way to fly a scale model, just stick to gut-wrenching 3D planes to show off your RC skill.

That's an odd take considering the F-22 is considered one of the most aerobatic full scale fighters out there. There's very little of what was done here that it can't do, so most of this would be considered scale flying - there's more to "scale" than just flying in circles.
