The reason for that is bcuz they don't need alot of drying bcuz their hair is thin. As well as the flat iron being a low heat bcuz they don't need alot of heat for hair that is naturally straight. In Asia flat irons don't come with heat above 300

That’s the only issue I noticed..I have relaxed hair so they were able to work with my hair but I suggested to them that they bring someone in that can do natural hair as well. :)

That's amazing to be able to go to an Asian salon, have an operator work on another minority's hair and have it come out looking good. I'd say that is a Triple Home Run!! A former classmate of mine went to a Korean salon. She came back to school that next Monday looking like the Bride of Frankenstein. Needless to say she was in a 'blue funk' the whole day.

Omg this hairstylist did an AMAZING job on ur hair. Every single thing she did promotes healthy hair and grow. Honestly, u might wanna start, if u haven't, blowing ur hair this way. That bone str8 strips the natural bounce in the hair with each use. When I stopped doing bone hair, the thickness and body in my hair was and is amazing. 20 inches of pure health from blow drying that way.

FYI sometimes w/ minority hair if you want the bone straight look you have to go back to old school and use the 'Cell (aka Marcelle's) with the oven. Sometimes that's the only way to do it. Although, those old school metal hot tools throw off more heat the outcomes is usually a lot better and lasts longer than the ceramic newer heating elements that are used today. The heat concentration in the ceramic units is (by design) a lot lower in heat level.

Great video. I am not fan of straight hair and I am anti strengthening appliances but I really liked how the flat iron was not that hot. On other's videos, the flat iron is usually smoking. I make skin care products, I can attest to the benefits of Himalayan salt. Also, us AA women would benefit from getting more hair, face, and neck messages. Btw, I have to get that rolling thing for my face.

That look so relaxing and for $85, with the facial too that’s good. The only thing is I think when they do Afro type hair they need to use a brush with the hair dryer so it can be more straight when flat ironing or an option. Your hair looks good full and light

Thank you for posting this. I've seen so many of these hair washing and massage videos from Vietnam, Japan and other places. Nice to know that I can get the same treatment here. The only thing I'd have a problem with is blow drying without a comb or brush. My hair is fluffy like dandelion. It must be blow dried with a comb or brush and flat ironed with high heat. If not, it won't look like I've been to a salon at all.

I wish they had this spa in London because i don't trust any hair salon to touch my hair, i tried over 10 different hairdressers and always came back with a headache so now i do my own hair treatments with coffee,turmeric and aloe vera and mix my own oils which have helped my hair grow to shoulder length before blow drying haven't tried straightening it yet,anyways your looks beautiful xxx
