I usually really dislike most songs with lyrics, as they are needless repetition of what happens everyday (or what shouldn't happen, if you think about Taylor Swift, yes, I'm looking at you, Blank Space.) But here with Thomas I always got meaningful and well orchestrated lyrics. I absolutely love Star Sky, same with this, even though I'm not here for the words.

(edit : and yea, we are not sure there are other living being , so if you go for the theory that we are alone in a desert universe, the affirmation that the universe like this song, may be not so far from the ( a ) truth ) but i think what he means is that evrything in this universe , observed as of now , is born from stars . Hmm, possibly. I didn't really think of it as echo because there was no delay, but I suppose it might be that function. I can hear it best when I compare her "serious" at 0:52-0:53 to "sun" at 0:58-0:59. It almost sounds like her voice shifted up an octave and layered over it. Is that the echo you're talking about?

@MikkoRantalainen2 жыл бұрын
@Suko Are you asking if software developers have a good salary? I would say it totally depends on the company. In my experience, software developers have huge variances in the salary. Also, comparing yearly earnings is meaningless because some software developers have maybe 5 day off during the year and work 60+ hours a week. Another software developer may have 6 weeks of per year and work maybe 30 hours a week for the rest of the year. If both have the same yearly earnings, would you consider those jobs equal? I think average salary per working hour is the only meaningful measurement.

My dear, sweet children of the light... Thou hast not ashamed me yet, For Although with Evil Overcome, You Still fight for light and wait, And I see the Fight you fight is Great, And for you I can decide to Fight all Hate, Devour Pain and free your souls again, Oh Children of Atlantis, oh Children so Enlightened, Know you now to not be frightened, Because its destined that your lights be reignited, No matter how much wait or pain, Together we will fight it, Just please... Never let you go and hold onto your Light even when in Darkness. - Ell.

While I already liked the song initially back when it came out, what I felt for it grew so much more meaningful and intense over time, especially the past year. I'm normally not too fond of things with lyrics, but these I somehow feel on a personal level, and singing them along feels so powerful. Today I listened to it again, singing the entire song by heart, and near the end, I suddenly felt tears spill. Your music is so incredible Thomas.

Rendered speechless... instant karma. Lyrics: Fighting and burning from turning from Who we really are Cannot suppress so let's find the one We have shaped so far Flying too close to sun As if we're invincible Cannot dictate, dominate the earth That we're living on We can't defy the laws Cut the laws that we consummate Around the world We grow weaker as we exterminate The only thing that gives thing That brings air and life to us Wake up one day and find That what we got is serious We are the children of the sun We are the children of the sun The human creed and our creators Well that we have to share Knee deep in tragical Fabrical issues everywhere Cannot replace the one Chase the one that we used to be It isn't how we were, why we're here What we're meant to be Fighting and burning from turning from Who we really are Cannot suppress so let's find the one We have shaped so far Flying too close to sun As if we're invincible Cannot dictate our faith On this earth that we're living on We are the children of the sun The love for everyone Always on our own The fire in our eyes The passion never dies We're the chosen ones The children of the sun We are the children of the sun The love for everyone Always on our own The fire in our eyes The passion never dies We're the chosen ones The children of the sun We are, we are We are the children of the sun We are, we are We are the children of the sun We are, we are We are the children of the sun Always on our own

It is so cool that Thomas Bergersen is from Norway and not far from where I live!! :D What he makes is so amazing!! This track gives me goosebumps and makes me want to achive! I will also say it is cool that this song of his is in Trollhunters! The scenes this track is used in makes the scene so more impactfull! I tell you, goosbumps from the top of my head and down my whole spine right after the built up and when it hits the climax! (3:12). And now they returned it in the movie and I was so happy!
