Good comparison. Looking at data from a year ago and another source, Draw biased drivers lost MOI to their regular siblings. It would be a great video if you could get a Mid Handicap golfer to test SIM-D vs SIM, and Mavrik Max (Set most draw bias) vs Mavrik, and so on to answer the question do the new Draw biased drivers lose forgiveness? I think this would be extremely helpful to average golfers and their buying decisions. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Ok. This question will hopefully help me & others understand when Matty says, get a 12* Max & open it so it plays to a 10.5 Static loft,how exactly do I do that? I play at 10.5, so I bought the 12* max. W/HZRDUS Yellow at 45”. I also replaced the cogs from a RH to LH so I was able to lower loft to 10*. To compensate for the 14g weight on the heel, I put 3g of lead tape on the toe side & I’m bombing it with a “butter cut” fade which is what I wanted. I can also now draw it when I need it. Hot melt to replace lead tape when I’m able to. Ian, based on these specs, what is the static loft that I’m playing at with this settings? With the lockdown, I can’t see a fitter yet but I was able to go to the range & see my flight patterns. Slightly higher but longer than my epic flash. I’m 65yo & hit the end marker at 265y upper half of the fence. This is an older video review but I would surely like to hear from you lads on what I’ve done with my Max driver. I just bought the standard Mavrik but yet to test it. Thank you foe your anticipated response.

Going to be fitting myself into a Callaway in the near future. My challenges are I play a shorter Driver as I am only 5'6". Going 44" just to give me a chance to keep SW under control. My ball speed is around low 150s. I am looking at the MAX. Paired with a Oban Isawa Red or Kiyoshi GOLD (question: going 75grams would help with getting SW back going shorter?) Thoughts on shafts? I swing around 100mph. I can time softer flexes better it seems. I will be going with a LH(I'm RH)sleeve head at 10.5 and positioned to 8.5. Open look knowing weighting should help rotate face back to square. Hoping for a block draw looking flight. My angle of attack is becoming more 1° up swing wise. Are there any thoughts you'd share with my thinking or reactions to this setup?

I never paid much attention to this until now. I'm curious about the total number of shots with each head. Matt is shown hitting 5 shots with each head but looking at the shot count at the upper right it looks like he hit 15 with the 1st, 18 with the 2nd, and 14 with the last. The data at the end appears to reflect the shots shown to the viewers. Is a lot of "not so good" shot data getting tossed out? Is Matt a little wilder with his accuracy than we are led to believe? Hey, I like you guys and think you bring great content to the forefront. What's up with the shot count?

Any pickup in clubhead speed with the standard Mavrik and the "aerodynamics" it provides?
@canyonaro4 жыл бұрын
Mike West When they show the numbers you can see he lost a little ball speed with the Max but carry was just as far due to lower spin. If he went down more on loft he'd get that ball speed back but spin might get too low and turn it into a hook machine for him. We mortals won't have that problem.

@bobverbeke12054 жыл бұрын
I moved from the Epic Flash SZ to the Mavrik Max. I went into the fitting not expecting enough difference to warrant a change. Tired all three Mavrik's and the SZ was too low spin and the regular Max was too high. i don't hit the center face as often as Mattie so I saw a 10mph average ball speed increase and a better launch angle with the Max. Heavy weight in the back - of course.

@canyonaro4 жыл бұрын
Brent Reed because they edit out his snap hooks. Matt's also said it's easy banging balls into the wall inside but on the course, with consequences, he's much less accurate. I've had the same issues. Dead center strikes down the line during the fitting, spray it all over on the course. Sometimes it just doesn't translate, which is why adjustable drivers are awesome. I always end up making another tweak after the fitting to get it where I need it.

@benjaminrichter39354 жыл бұрын
@@austinlauer1910 yes the sound is way better. Other factors to consider in tests like these with a very small sample is if progressively got a bit warmer and peaked while testing the last club.
