Great reveiw! My first saber in my very small collection was a phantom menece Kenobi saber, and I think its cool and its a keeper. But it has a small alignment issue. And it is because of the design were you thread everything togheter. Its extremly difficult to set up process to manufacture parts for a design like that to line up. Thanks for an awsome video, perfect timing. I love when there is a new one from you when I wake up in the weekend 😊

You’re welcome and thanks for watching! 😊 that’s true. Threaded pieces are like that. I had similar issues on the MoM.

@@Sithslayer This video got me inspired to install my Luke mom hilt. I have all parts needed 😊

You definitely don't want to use all four retention screws at once. Blade retention screws push your blade up against the wall of the blade holder. It's that friction which holds the blade in place while you're swinging it around. If you use two screws in opposite positions, then the blade is only coming into contact with the two screws. That's less surface area and therefore less friction than if you used a single screw.

Thanks for the tip! I thought two 90 degrees to each other would hold it down better but it ended up losing contact with the pins.

@@Sithslayer Oh no, don’t do that! One screw works fine, if you use two then don’t put them in opposing positions.

Thanks for the great unboxing! I came here looking for info on the 4 blade screws under the emitters... mine don't tighten enough to allow the emitter to screw on, I'm curious is yours is that way also but the video doesn't show it.
@Sithslayer3 ай бұрын
@@tdanbrown mine were fine. But I had more issues using them than not using them. They tension has to be exactly equal or the blade will tilt and lose connection. I tried it without any screws under the emitter since the emitter is reinforced and it worked a lot better for me

@@Sithslayer thank you for the reply and info! That makes me feel a lot better about it.

Did the pommel upgrade come with the tri-ring already attached?
@Sithslayer Жыл бұрын
No the ring was seperate and wasn’t cut either. Had to be cut in the middle with a Dremel then installed

Nice video. I like this version a bit better than the "Creepy Uncle". Do you know if they have updated or plan to update the pommel and tri-ring?
@Sithslayer7 ай бұрын
No they haven’t but I think you can still buy it separately from Atstarsend

Is the black button on yours rattly and loose at all? Mine is, might have to put something behind it to make it tighter.
@Sithslayer Жыл бұрын
No mine is fine. It should be an easy fix but you’d have to take it apart to access the control box so you can secure it
@PlasticGeek Жыл бұрын
@@Sithslayer yeah I already looked in there, I just don’t get why one would be loose and one wouldn’t, unless mine is missing a spacer behind the board or something.

The more and more I watch, the more i hate how they made the saber... unfortunate LOL.
