That's real cool you guys still use the inner tubes to glue tires. Your Dad seen me doing that at the 2010 nats in colorado spring.

just curious, what's the benefit of a throttle return elastic on the carb over a traditional spring on the throttle linkage??
@rossmcdo
@rossmcdo 5 жыл бұрын
simpler, don't need to bend them, won't rip open the boot, don't lose springiness, cheaper (my 2 cents)

@@rossmcdo hmmmm, ok. Tho I think those are both pull style throttle returns your talking about. i was more so wondering the difference between the using a spring that the servo pushes against to close the carb, vs a spring that pulls the carb closed on its own. Is there a reason to choose one over the other?
@rossmcdo
@rossmcdo 5 жыл бұрын
Colinator4321 you should run both. If the servo fails and pulls it wide open that little spring isn’t doing anything, the rubber band is a fail safe and makes sure the engine doesn’t sneak open a tad

@@rossmcdo What if the band doesn't close the carb when there is no power though, my brushless servos arent easy to move with the radio off
