Great timing Davie, I planned on tying something like that for this season. I've little black stone or needle flies float down the creek I fish early in the season. I was thinking of going in a different direction with the tie but this pattern is superb. I think it would kill both in the film and drowned. Awesome thanks my friend!

@DavieMcPhail5 жыл бұрын
Hi César Julio Videla Alfonso, CDC is short for Cul de Canard which is French for ducks bottom, these flies actually come from the preen gland which is on the back of the duck..I've not used bees wax myself though I'm sure it would be fine, the nearest wax to the one that I use is cobblers wax which should give you a lot more grip.... All the very best Davie..

Nice fly's I'll try ... thing is at mo i have partridge sise 24 dry fly or sise ten nimph. Now dont laff when i tell you I'm gonna try on the sise 24 but im a novice of less than two years! But hears the killer ive been getting red hot lately on some of yours and Martin whites tutorials ( to be honest, apart from an indian fella name mak flies the rest are knuckle heads who wallop on in anoying fake voices like the whole process is a peace of piss) you know how tricky it is to create a tidy realistic puppet to fool a while trout. As a novis . But i got patience a snowbee fly mate. A desent camer and a chance to say thankyou so much for your tme and effort and hopefully ill be able to show you a great tie a fly.. looks when taught by the best tight lines and God bless you Davie.
