Very nice . I love watching you tie anything with legs and bodies . That turned out really good . Age has not been as kind to me as it has to you , what takes you a few minutes to tie , takes me 1/2 an hour with 2.5 readers and a lighted magnifying glass nowadays . That all black pattern is probably killer in late spring .

That is a wicked cool pattern, super buggy! I have been gluing foam together to create a foam block. Using different colors you can create some really nice variegated foam. Thanks for your channel!

Really nice fly Davie, I’ll be lashing a few of these up for the new season. My go to fly of this sort has always been a Hells Half Hog Hopper so it will be really interesting to compare how they work in a good hatch. Either way these will certainly enhance anyone’s fly box! Cheers

The hd foam is a easy to use material, back in the day the work and time spent making detached bodies from calf tale fibres for midge, mayfly, damsels, daddies. The hours spent making batches of bodies for using later. Yes it still has a place, but especially with using a drill and cutters to preform the bodies. They are quick and long lasting.
